Great stay and good customer service
Overall it was very good. The only negative is that our room was a bit musty smelling the entire time. We thought maybe the room had not been used for a while but came to the conclusion that it was pet related since this is a pet-friendly hotel. It seems that pets should be limited to certain rooms while all other rooms should be pet free. This seems to be more and more of a problem at many places these days. Otherwise we loved it.

We had stayed at this property about 10 years ago and it was in really great shape back then. We recently needed to stay the night and the staff are very friendly and everything about the customer service was excellent. The facility is getting really beat-up. The halls had a funky scent which both my wife and I commented on. The room was clean as it could be and the bed was comfortable. The location is great right near the interstate with plenty of food options. Our only complaint is the the facility really needs to be updated to compete with other hotels in the area.

The associates were friendly and accommodating. However, we booked a four night stay for four people and were told that our room would only be serviced on the third day. I didn't mind this but if the room is only serviced once in 3 days and you know there are four people, then why only 3 towels in the bathroom, one makeup wipe on the counter? If you don't want to service the room every day then think about the amount of items a family of four would need. Why should we be inconvenienced every time we need a fresh towel. At least enough items for everyone to have their own towels... The continental breakfast was very unappealing as well, and the associate was rude to my child when he didn't engage with her. He's 8.

All of the staff I met were all wonderful. Our first day, the receptionist put us in a room close by our car after the conversation about parking occurred. My stay was very pleasant. The room was impeccable. Everyone even down to housekeeping was thoughtful. Everything thing we needed they were so helpful. I'm out in Ocala again, I will definitely go back. We'll stick with tried and true. Thank you everyone at Marriott Inn in Ocala!!!

This hotel is in a great location. Close to everything. Staff is nice and breakfast in the morning has great choices. This was our second time staying there.

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel due to showing horses at WEC. Cons: Kitchen staff is extremely rude and confrontational. “Rose” has been an issue during all of our stays and monitors the breakfast area like the “soup nat from sienfield” I have spoken with manager Kevin and was told “not to stay at his property if I had any issues with Rose.” It’s really a shame this issue doesn’t get addressed as their have been multiple complaints dating back over a year about her rude inhospitable behavior. PROS: Front desk staff & housekeeping extremely friendly and helpful. Always smiling and willing to help with anything that needs to be done. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool was clean and had great lounge areas. We love the “apartment” feel of the rooms the full kitchen is great! especially bc we are there for 4-7 days with a child. The location is safe and there is shopping and dining close by.

Disappointed about the hotel, the room picture was misleading, included a fireplace and there was none , no soap for hand washing in the bathroom, the tub was clogged very slow draining, blood stained shower curtain. I reported to front desk and they offered to take care next day in the morning. The breakfast was good.

It was OK.
The mid-stay changeover from proper plates and cutlery to plastic-wrapped plastic was very disappointing and wasteful. One of the breakfast staff was arrogant and bossy, criticising us for using the wooden board beside the toaster for slicing a bagel, for example. Apparently this encouraged germs and we should have used a plate. She then stood, watching proceedings, like a prison warden. The room was comfortable and provided all our needs. Other staff members very pleasant. Disappointed by lack of bar and restaurant, even though Marriott's own website says there is one. The breakfast was adequate, but no more than that. No restaurants with walking distance due to location, so car essential. Good laundry facilities, pool and sitting out areas.

Having a separate room and kitchen was wonderful, but everything was filthy. Boogers on the wall, hair balls under the sofa couch, staind linens, and sagging wallpaper. We were at least excited for the hot tub, but that was drained and not in use. That being said the staff was the friendliest I've come across and the location is extremely convenient.

1. General Manager Royce is magnificent! 2. All Front Desk Staff is amazing! 3. Manager Kevin is splendid, delightful and super accommodating! 4. Keo, Day Front Desk, is sweet and charming! 5. I requested a late check out. I was told I could not check out late. I had remote work to do and the internet was down. I could not connect on my laptop and had to use my phone to do work remotely and it took longer than usual to do it this way. Because I could get a late check, I did not have enough time to shower and had to leave un-showered for my next appointment. Very embarrassing. Also, when I did check out, I realized that I was charged more for my room through hotels.com than the actual room rate. Not happy about that either.
