We have stayed here several times over the years but I may have to look for a new place to stay when visiting Ocala. When the key didn't work the two girls at the desk just kept telling me I didn't know how to use the key. Finally after going back upstairs for the third time I left the keys with them and said fix it I'll return after my meeting. The battery was dead in the lock on the door. The bartender ignored me and waited on other people that came into the bar/restaurant after me. I finally left after 10 minutes of being ignored. He saw me there made eye contact just wouldnt wait on me. Very poor service!

The room was very noisy. The a/c kept clicking on and off and it was very loud. We were there for a conference and had planned to save time by having breakfast at the hotel. Starting our day early (with little sleep) to go down for breakfast at 7a.m. just to find out there was NOTHING because the cook did not show was an inconvenience. At check-out there was trouble with system and took extra time to get out. An interruption by a staff member telling the front clerk that the cook was late and that he was letting the front desk clerk know in a huff today was his last day was unprofessional. I would like a refund, who do I talk to about that?

The front desk staff are not friendly and the room service is not clean. There were no smiling, friendly staff, the air conditioner in the room was too loud, and there was a smell every time the air conditioner worked, so we had to turn it off.

Interior was very dated and furniture run down and scarred. Place was clean, and the shower reminded me of the kind I used at a National Park campground. Place seemed well lit in parking lot, restaurant was limited and did not include breakfast.

For the most part this was a great stay. It got a little noisy in the area and the hotel could use a little updating but it was clean. I would stay here again.

It was a nice place to stay.
The man who ran breakfast was very nice. But there was never any french toast as listed on the daily menu. We didnt dine in for dinner. One tv remote only worked some of the time and it spunded like a fan was running in the bathroom of the next room constantly. But the room was spacious, nice amenities. Nice people.

I very much enjoyed viewing the beautiful lobby. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the fact that breakfast was not included and we didn't kniw until we sat down to eat. The service was great but the food was not worth it.
