I stayed at this hotel in both 2025 as well as this year. From last year to this one, the improvement in service was very noticeable. Staff were nicer and more responsive. Also, the food equality had improved. The problem - to the extent there were any - was with the resort’s condition and a minor issue with housekeeping. With regard to the condition of the resort, the common areas are in good shape. My room was not in great shape as the battery on our safe was dead, the bathroom spigot was loose, and the room sprung a ceiling leak during a rainstorm. Upon further inspection, it seemed to me the ceiling had been patched previously but not actually repaired. With housekeeping, I could not figure out the routine as it related to the replenishment of toiletries. From what I could gather, it seemed that the protocol was for each room to get shampoo, conditioner, lotion and two bars of soap. The protocol also seemed to be to provide more of what you had and none of what you needed. As a result, shampoo was plentiful but soap, conditioner and lotion were not.. That said, the resort sits on the best beach in the area. This fact alone will keep me coming back. Hopefully, the process of continuous improvement will still be noticeable when I return!
