You can reach your destination in 10 minutes from the Mondsee motorway exit, and in about 35 minutes from Salzburg. The house was planned and built in 2011 with a special focus on modern ecological construction using Blitzblau architecture. An air heat pump heats the house by means of component activation and emits the heat via stone and wooden floors. We have lovingly furnished the house in a stylish and contemporary way. LAYOUT: "On the ground floor" there is a bright bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet as well as a living and relaxation room with sauna next to the entrance area with a cloakroom. From this room you can access a small, secluded terrace with an outdoor shower and access to the garden. "On top" you will find a spacious living-dining room with a cozy old wood seating area for up to 8 people, a cozy sofa corner with a fireplace and access to the arbor, garden and balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped. You will find ceramic hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and built-in coffee machine as well as sufficient dishes, cutlery and glasses. Another bedroom with a double bed and 1 children's room with a bunk bed complete the accommodation for 6 people. A folding bed can also be provided on request. The bathroom has a shower and whirlpool tub and a washing machine. The toilet is separate. SURROUNDINGS - SPORTS, CULTURE and ENTERTAINMENT: Child-friendly and inexpensive skiing and hiking areas such as Oberaschau (Postalm (and Gaisau-Hintersee (are in the vicinity), thermal baths can be found in Bad Ischl (or Bad Reichenhall (in nearby Bavaria. The dreamy public "Strandbad Laiter" (at the idyllic and protected Irrsee lake can be reached in a few minutes on foot. An in-house handcart is available for the transport of your bathing accessories. The convenient location also offers an excellent starting point for (cycling) hikes and (swimming) excursions - even without a car. Enchanting places and cities like Mondsee, Salzburg, St. Wolfgang am Wolfgangsee, Gmunden am Traunsee or Bad Ischl with culture, cuisine and many other sights can be reached in less than 50 minutes. SHOPPING OPTIONS and GASTRONOMY: Zell am Moos (approx. 3.5 km); A well-stocked SPAR market (you can find it like the Langwallner butcher shop with an attached inn next to the church (and the Bakery Obauer (A culinary tip in Zell am Moos is the Gasthof Seewirt (and at the Hochsernerhof you have a wonderful view over Irrsee and Mondsee with a hearty snack. In winter there is an illuminated toboggan run and an ice stock rink. (An ice stock is ready in the house!) Oberhofen am Irrsee (approx. 3.0 km): Unimarkt opposite the town hall and the church, organic bread and vegetables from our own production are offered in the farm shop of Gut Oberhofen (in the Wirtshaus zur Westbahn (regional and seasonal dishes are freshly prepared. Dier ebenfalls ausgezeichnete Seebadeanstalt ist fußläufig in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen, so dass wir nach unseren Wanderungen noch einmal mit einen Sprung in den See erfrischen konnten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet. Vor allem das großzügig ausgestattete Kinderzimmer hat unserem Sohn sehr viel Freude bereitet. Leider hatten wir Pech mit dem Wetter und konnten den tollen Garten und die Spielgeräte nur wenig nutzen. Die Sauna stellte aber einen guten Trost für das Regenwetter dar. Insgesamt ist das Haus absolut zu empfehlen und wir können uns absolut vorstellen hier mit Freunden und Kindern nochmal herzukommen. Absolut empfehlenswert. ##### Sabine A. Der Gastgeber/ Erwin unterstützt einen bei jeder Frage oder Wünschen. Das nahegelegene Strandbad können wir auch nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wir haben zu jeder Tageszeit noch einen Schattenplatz gefunden und selbst zu den Stoßzeiten hatte man noch genügend Platz zum nächsten Liegenachbarn. Ob das Haus oder das Strandbad es ist überall sehr kinderfreundlich und als Erwachsener kommt man auch nicht zu kurz. Das einzige was man bei der Lage wissen muss ist,dass in dem Dorf kein Supermarkt existiert - Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind aber gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen- und die Bundesstraße vorhanden ist. Die komplette Landruhe gibt es nicht, aber für uns als Stadtmenschen war sie auch nicht störend. Wir konnten trotzdem am Abend die idyllische Umgebung im Garten am Teich genießen. Die Lage ist - bis auf die Straße nebenan - genial, man kann viele Ausflugsziele mit dem Fahrrad oder mit dem Auto im wenigen Minuten erreichen. Unseren Kindern hat der Garten inkl. Trampolin und weiteren Spielmöglichkeiten besonders gefallen. Das Haus ist in Laufweite zum Strandbad, der Garten bietet genug Platz und Austattung für Grillen, Lagerfeuer und aktive Kinder. Wohnzimmer ist geräumig und alles an Ausstattung da was man braucht. Extra Punkte gibt es für das viele Spielzeug - die Kinder waren hin und weg. Checkin und Checkout extrem unkompliziert und erfrischend flexibel. Das Haus ist für 6 Personen ausgewiesen, wir waren 4 Erw. und 3 Kinder/Jugendliche. Es waren genügend Schlafplätze vorhanden. Die Küche enthält alles was man benötigt. Konnten selbst einen Kuchen für unser Geburtstagskind backen. Die eingebaute Kaffeemaschine ist der Hammer gewesen. Wir kommen bereits seit vielen Jahren in die Gegend, und haben mittlerweile einiges an Freunden vor Ort. Haben im wirklich großen Garten ein Grillfest veranstaltet. Grill ist vorhanden wie auch eine Bierzeltgarnitur. Die Kinder konnten trotzdem noch Fußball spielen. Der Bachlauf ist klasse zum Getränke kühlen. ;-) Durch die verschiedenen "Terrassen", oben vorm Elternschlafzimmer ein Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheit und Tischlein, unten vorm Elternzimmer ebenfalls eine gemütliche Ecke mit Holzmöbeln. Direkt vom Wohnzimmer morgens auf der überdachten Terrassenecke einen Kaffee trinken war spitze. Der Garten ist wie das Haus gepflegt. ##### Simon S. Foto zum Kinderzimmer wurde zum Beispiel extra zur Ansicht geschickt. Frau Manuela hat uns nett in Empfang genommen und eingewiesen. Die nahe Straße ist nicht so toll, konnte aber durch das Ambiente und den Garten wettgemacht werden! Es ist alles da was man braucht!! Sogar Fahrräder kann man eingeschlossen unterbringen. Der Garten ist für Kinder genial. Das viele Spielzeug und die Bücher im Kinderschlafzimmer beschäftigte unseren Sohn einige Stunden. Die Badestelle am Irrsee ist klasse und nah. Der Kompressor für das Schlauchboot super. Ein See ohne viele Touristen ; herrlich! Etwas sauberer wäre dann noch super und echte Lattenroste in den Betten ( im Untergeschoss auch eine richtige Matratze) , dann können wir uns das Haus mit der schönen Umgebung gut noch öfter für den Jahresurlaub vorstellen! ##### Jutta R. Alles vorhanden was man in einer Ferienwohnung braucht. Wir waren überwältigt - die Unterkunft hat alles geboten, was man sich vorstellen kann. Sauna, Whirlpool und Grillecke - alles was das Herz begehrt und was man zum abschalten benötigt. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist überwältigend. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Den einzigen Fehler den wir gemacht haben, war es, unsere Utensilien mitzunehmen, da diese bereits alle vorhanden waren. ;-) Der Irrsee ist in 5 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen und auch andere Seen und Landschaften sind mit dem Auto super bequem anzusteuern. Die Lage ist also auch toll und die Nachbarschaft ist wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Haus bietet genügend Platz für eine Familie samt Kindern oder auch für eine Gruppe von Freunden, die wie wir, einen entspannten Urlaub vorhaben. Ein sehr netter Kontakt rundet das perfekte Ferienhaus in Oberösterreich ab. Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder und freuen uns bereits jetzt aufs nächste Jahr. ##### Robin R.
