Nice to have a washer. Pillows need replacing. Fine for a couple of days. Convenient location. Not given enough information about how to find apartment. Had to talk to shopkeepers.

Mixed feelings about Talisker. Location excellent right in town and very easy access to train and ferry. Very, very shabby building in common areas like stairwells and entry. Dirty areas stayed the same during our 3 night stay. Entry door always remained unsecured - probably by other tenants. Mail strewn at front door. Fire extinguisher notices always on floor. Our 4th floor walk-up apartment had great views but was a big haul up 4 floors every time espec with suitcases. Worth considering if you’re not sure of so many stairs. Apartment was compact with little room to put suitcases, otherwise amenities ok.

Position is great. So close to train, ferries and shops, restaurants. Hauling suitcases up and down 4 floors isn’t fun but the views over Oban are a very nice reward. Apartment is compact. Nowhere to place suitcases. Common areas of the building - entry, stairwells, dirty & shabby. Old mail, leaflets scattered on floor, Stairwell needs a good clean. Exterior of building very uncared for. A shame. Apartment itself is fine.
