An excellent location for a family holiday or a break for two couples. House has a very high level of amenities and private parking area. Great views looking back over Oban bay from Pulpit Hill direction. Only a 10 minute walk from town centre, railway station and ferry terminal. Lots to do in Oban: amazing scenery, great shops, great restaurants, busy harbour, nearby beach and many historical locations. Accommodation and Facilities Living Room: large and comfortable with large screen TV: includes Freeview, Sky and BT channels. Kitchen / Dining Room: large area with dining table and seating for six: includes Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Washing Machine with Dryer, Gas Cooker and Microwave. Downstairs Toilet: off rear hallway with WC and hand basin. Family Bathroom: off hall landing with WC, hand basin, bath and shower unit. The house is in the hills above the town center and harbor with a stunning view, the lights around the harbor at night were lovely. The bedrooms were all comfortable, and the living room was cozy with enough seating for everyone. The Wi-Fi got approvals from my teenager which says a lot - he was also thrilled to have a TV in his room (both large bedrooms had TV’s) and my 8 year-old loved the bunk bed room. The kitchen/dining area was large and well equipped. Communication with the host, Sheena, was great. We had a question on arrival about how to turn some things on and they walked us through it. Traveling as a family I really appreciated having a later check out than many VRBOs. We hope to return in the summer in the next couple years to explore more of Oban & would love to stay at Kilcheran again and get to enjoy the sun room next time! ##### Jennifer C. Our host, Sheena, was very diligent in contacting us to ensure all was well. The house itself , being in an elevated position, has wonderful views over Oban Bay.
