Lovely convenient hotel close to restaurants. The staff are very hospitable and quite helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to chilled out quieter types who come to Oaxaca for relaxation , art, history and yes mezcal!

Great location, grocery store close, restaurants and bars also close by. The hotel service was great, they helped us set up several tours around Oaxaca and get our taxi to the airport. The rooms close by the restaurant tend to feel noisy so just ask for different rooms if you are a light sleeper. Overall it was a good experience.

The hotel rambles and while my room is right next to the bar, the ambiance makes up for the noise. The front doors are worth a visit. The women on the front counter couldn’t have been more lively and helpful.the waiter just introduced me to chipotle chili which took the soup to a whole new level. The Cultural area is a few short blocks away. It’s pretty convenient to almost everything and the area is quaint and beautiful.

Hotel was reasonably priced considering the distance from downtown. Staff were overall friendly except for the day shift front desk female who lacked customer service skills. I will definitely consider staying at this location in the future.

Nice property but bad customer service. Arrived on a low season Wednesday at 1:05 PM and was told to wait until 2 to check in, because that is the check in time, even though they only had 3 other rooms full.

The property is about 150 years old. The rooms are good and the A/C works very well. The grounds are attractive with beautiful plants. The only negative for me was a large ( but dead) beetle in the corner of my room. It did not keep me from a great night of rest.

Attempting to make a reservation for late July, the date on the Expedia form got changed back to July 3 when I was still in the USA. I attempted to correct the error but was unable to even with several phone calls. So I am asking for a refund. We rented five rooms at the hotel for later in the month and plan to rent again later

A well located hotel across the street from a park. Within easy walking distance to the zocalo. Many restaurants near the hotel. Very comfortable and quiet hotel. Would gladly stay here again.

I has a pleasant time. the location is optimal. the staff was pleasant and helpful, and the room satisfactory (the bathroom fan was very loud) We drove, and there is plenty of parking and access to highways at this location.

Pro: The location is close to Santo Domingo church. Hot water. Cons: Run down, worn rooms. Cockroach was in our room. The two “double” beds were small- maybe smaller than full size mattresses! Bathroom very worn!

The hotel was super cute, clean, and in a perfect location. This was our first time in Oaxaca and this hotel was a walking distance from all the hustle and bustle and yet very quiet at night time. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Good enough.
Our overall stay was nice, but have to take into consideration several conditions, as for instance that it doesn’t have parking lot and elevator. Also, it looks like they don’t do maintenance to the rooms very often, and it could affect the comfort.
