Large marble island, kitchenette with marble countertops, queen size bed plus comfortable full size futon bed, desk, and table. Nestled behind a gate, this Casita has views from the Bay Bridge to the San Mateo Bridge, mountain views, and a view of San Francisco. Quiet, secure, and very private including your own private yard. Your closest neighbor will be approximately 200 feet away. This is a very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors including law enforcement officials who are often seen outside washing their vehicles or BBQing with their families. We are 10 mins from BART and 10 mins from Cal State East Bay. We live in the main home approximately 200 feet away. The lot has 24/7 video recording on premises which is monitored to detect unwanted parties/events, and we are available anytime for any issues that may arise. Maximum four guest allowed. Additional guest require a charge of $25 per person per night. No smoking/no parties/events. $1,500 fee for violating smoking rule or having a party/event. The studio Casita sits on top of 1.4 acres. The lot is divided by a deer fence. The main house sits on 20,000+ square feet while the guesthouse sits on a separate 30,000+ square foot lot. \-Enjoy 50" HDTV with free YouTube, Roko, or Xfinity. \-Enjoy free coffee/Toaster \-Eletric hot water kettle \-Iron/Ironing board \-Hairdryer \-Wifi (which is spotty) \-Plenty of free parking \-Work/study area \-Views of San Francisco, Oakland, San Leandro, Castro Valley, Hayward, the Bay, and more. \-Body wash/Shampoo/Conditioner Parking is available inside the gate or, for vehicles with a low clearance, right outside the gate; upon entry there is a steep stair case. Overlooking the main house, one does not feel any issues of privacy. The owners have gone through great lengths to provide everything a guest would need. Every detail is thoughtful and one feels very well taken care of upon arrival. Some notable & beautiful elements: a wrap around deck, the lovely artwork, giant marble countertops, a big portable speaker, every kitchen gadget you can think of, plus the super, fun ambient lighting on the inside and out, the indoor fireplace, heater and the outdoor fire pit. Last but not least the most epic and stunning views of the bay, SF and the surrounding cities with colorful & vibrant sunsets that change every 10 minutes, every night!! Futon was very hard also. Towels and wash cloths were the worst I’ve ever used in a rental. The smell on the towels were horrible. The wash cloths were dark in color with bleach stains. This was the perfect spot for us to enjoy our evenings. The views were amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The outside area was truly AMAZING. I wish we'd had better weather so we could've enjoyed it more. On clear nights you can see the bay bridge and SF beautifully. We enjoyed the large sliding doors to let fresh air in and take in the views. The large deck was a wonderful place to relax. The host took care of a lot of little details that sometimes get overlooked at short-term rentals. There was plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioner, paper towels in the kitchen, etc. Communication back and forth was a breeze which also made the process smooth. We arrived on a very hot day- and there’s no AC, but once we opened all the beautiful sliders and windows, it helped a lot. The next 2 days the temps were lower and it was very comfortable inside. The stairs down are fairly steep- but there is a railing to help- I would definitely not recommend for older folks or handicapped. The decks and porch have amazing views!! The inside is nicely done.
