Apparently this property is doing renovations. Also the front desk charged me for the room instead of just for incidentals and I already paid for it online so I had to wait 3 business days to get my money back

It is in the hood. We dirty everywhere. Carpets need to be fire bombed. Staff was nice. Broken ac. Homeless with their dogs at our window No bugs seen yet but prob there.

We ended up getting one room. It was so nasty that they switched us to another room. That was even more nasty. I have pictures if needed and the staff just kept me on hold for 15 minutes to try to find another room. Why did I need to be on hold? Why couldn’t she just call the room back? The room phones have no speakerphone so you literally have to hold the phone while the carpet is so nasty you can’t take your shoes off .

Convenient location for our visit. Easy parking. Nice lobby and clean, well appointed room. The staff was polite and friendly. The hallway on our floor had a mildly unpleasant odor. The shower in one of our suite's bathrooms was faulty. Weekday breakfast service ends too early for people who are on vacation.

I was very disappointed on my last day. I brought my dog with me she is a 12 pound Shitzu/ Maltese. We made our way to to dinning Area for breakfast. This is supposed to be a pet friendly hotel. I prepared my breakfast and made my way to my sit to eat. My dog barked a few times. Once I came to the table she became quite. The front desk clerk Connie P. Told me to leave eating area with my dog. Not with please! Nothing. I thought it was rude and against Ada for those with disabilitie issues. There were no signs around no one complained about my service dog, however came to say hello to her. This is not a pet friendly hotel I left. I wzs charge for my dog and for all accommodations. Dennis Berris hotel manager was emailed. You should not discriminate people with special need animals.

This was not worth the rate charged I was not pleased at all. I asked for a different room and I was advised there was nothing available. I would not recommend.

Oakland is not a safe place so did not see anything and stayed close to Hotel and was told by all to be very careful. Too many Gangs and not law enforcement. Great way to live a life. Will never come back to the Bay Area again. Too unsafe.

This is the first time I’ve been to a hotel without a generator. Our first night was disappointing. Went back to rest but saw the lights are out. Ordered in room service but front desk called me to pick it up. I guess they should have not posted it as in room service in thr first place. Overall it was ok but I will never come back to this place.

I found the door controls needed new batteries, both my room key and one of the outside door to admit customers into the building needed batteries replacement, super inconvenient. The elevator is very slow. The furniture is poorly assembled and out of plumb. Drawers opened on their own. Carpets were shredded in some areas. Needs updating for sure.

Yes we will come again
The moment we arrived, the hotel was beautiful inside and we were greeted by the hotel clerk, she was extremely nice (thatnks for making our stay better!). LOVE the back patio, our room was nice as well. Hotel was clean, and i didnt realize there was breakfast too, but the food was good as well. I love how its so close (15-20min) to different areas like the movies, golf, japanese garden, etc. My husband and i both stated we'd definitely stay here agin. Only 2 issues: our a/c stayed only at 77 (we didnt ask for maintenance), and just a suggestion, but theres nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. Maybe add a little stand by the side of the sink? Thanks again

The room was a lot smaller than what appeared in the photos online. The carpets were disgusting. The hallways smelled like smoke and a school cafeteria. The elevator was so rickety it sounded like it was going to break at any moment. The counter tops and table were dirty. I wiped everything down with disinfecting wipes when I got in the room and they turned brown. There was no hand soap in the kitchen or bathroom.

The lobby area is nice and stafff were friendly, and the small store is convenient. I really liked the patio area overlooking the marina. However the stairwell in the easternmost building had old, dirt stained carpets and there was a huge bag of trash at the end of the hallway on my level. The bathroom and walls in my room could have been cleaner, and the kitchen cabinets were broken.

I initially had a problem with my room, but the lady at the front desk was kind and handled it immediately. The staff was friendly the room was great and they even served a nice breakfast. Overall I was very pleased.
