Bedroom #2/den has couch that converts to full-size bed. Day bed in living room has twin mattress. Full size appliances, fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer in cottage. Walking distance to College Avenue shops and restaurants, UC Berkeley and BART. Parking space available, but many people come without a car. Elmwood neighborhood has a library, bank, movie theater, 2 bookstores and many great restaurants and shops. Patty was there to greet us upon arrival and show us the ropes and was always lovely and friendly when we bumped into her during our stay. The cottage was clean and well stocked with everything that we needed to cook, make coffee and just enjoy ourselves. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of clean towels and linens. The location could not be better, walking distance to just about everything you need. We had a small issue with a smoke alarm that decided to start chirping right after we arrived, and after telling Patty about, it she had somebody there in 15 minutes to change the battery and resolve the problem. It was the perfect place for us to recoup and enjoy some downtime while exploring the East Bay. We appreciated Patty’s hospitality and the parking space she made available to us. ##### Loretta K.
