Deer will be in the yard with other wild life to give that mountain experience. If staying longer than 7 days an additional security deposit will be required. This home is located in a wonderful residential mountain community. It is extremely peaceful and quiet in the mountains and it is easy to hear the nature outdoors. It is important to note that due to it being so quiet, noise is taken very seriously and there are external cameras on the property. We are experienced hosts and make sure to include all the necessary items for cooking, cleaning, and living. If something is missing or not to your standards please reach out and we will be sure to make things right. There are absolutely so many incredible things to do in this area so please check out our guidebook for ideas! Internet here is with Vyve and gives us great speeds up to 200mbps. As an engineer that needs a good workspace, I made sure I was able to be comfortable and work efficiently while here. Traveling during the winter has risks due to potential snow storms. Always check the weather before traveling. We provide a plowing service, however, during a major storm it could take significant time for the driveway to be plowed. There are shovels provided in case of snow storms but this is pretty rare. During the winter months make sure to have chains available. During the summer there is extreme fire danger. There is absolutely NO tolerance for smoking and outdoor fires during the summer months. The county will HEAVILY fine you for creating any campfires plus it will be documented via cameras and/or neighbors. There is plenty of parking for the gravel driveway area. We only ask to please not block any space to get to the garage and leave enough room for cars/emergency vehicles to get in and out. There is a property in the back that is accessed using an easement that passes by this property. You can see the back of the other property and the side entrance from the backyard of this house. There should not be any disturbances during your stay as these properties are standard distances for neighbors and everyone is informed. Please let us know if you experience any issues. Trash comes on Tuesday. If anything is missed and you suspect it isn't fulfilling expectations, please reach out to us. We will attempt to bring it to you within your stay. Do not block the fire hydrant or the neighbor's driveway. Big comfy beds, extra linens and blow up queen mattress available as well. Kitchen had enough equipment to make dinners etc, with a spacious pantry we could store all our food in. Listing was accurate about layout and size. Jacuzzi out back was very nice. Home is a nice distance from town but not too far out, close to restaurants and shops as well as local sights. Not an issue for us since our doggie won’t stray far, but there is no fenced in area to let them out. Also, pro tip, don’t leave towels to dry outside after a lake day. There are some neighbor cats that roam the property and will mark your stuff as theirs overnight. Only 10 minutes from grocery stores, gas stations and food. Was big enough for my party of 8 and my dog! I loved the jacuzzi even though it was hot outside when we were staying. It was nice for relaxing at night. Neighborhood is quiet, and you get to see some wildlife in the backyard throughout the day. Kyle was an incredible host and reached out quickly if we ever needed anything. Would recommend staying at this place if you are ever heading to oakhurst. We spent 6 nights on this property 4 adults and one child two dogs. The house is very spacious. The living room was our favorite room. washing machine and dryer very useful on rainy days. In this house is everything that we need. Just a few little things could be changed. in the kitchen, better quality silverware, , more lighting outside the house, and cotton linen. Besides, it's a very nice place to spend time. The location is great. Few minutes for a town close to the lake. We have a wonderful time with our family and dogs we will come back for sure. I made several requests during our visit and he was very generous in fulfilling those requests. We brought our two large dogs and he made no restrictions on them . We paid a small per pet fee for the entire visit. Two small downsides. The fenced in portion of the yard was not completed so I couldn’t just let my dogs use the doggy door. If you like to cook a lot on vacation, this is not the best stocked kitchen, especially if you have a large group. All around, one of the best properties I have stayed in and a really great value.
