Perfectly positioned between adventure and relaxation, this comfortable home sits approximately 20 minutes from Yosemite's South Entrance and just 10 minutes from Bass Lake. Surrounded by walking trails, open space, and beautiful natural scenery, Scenic Serenity offers a true escape into nature while remaining close to everything the area has to offer. This is one of two homes on the property—if you're traveling with extended family or friends, the neighboring home (Emerald Escape) can be booked together for exclusive use of the entire acreage, while still maintaining privacy between homes. It's an extra step we take to provide a truly clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. \*Bunkbeds: Please note that due to California Worker's Compensation restrictions, housekeeping will not be able to make the top bunk prior to arrival. Fresh sheets, bedding, and pillows are absolutely provided for it though! Fireplace/Firepits: (Per Madera County Regulation) No open wood-burning fire pits, bonfires, or campfires are permitted at short-term rentals. Charcoal grills of any type are strictly prohibited. Parking: There is enough parking for 4 cars at this property. The garage is unavailable to guests. We appreciate you not exceeding the maximum parking limit. Many of the local roads are privately owned and privately maintained. Please be mindful to obey speed laws and drive slowly in residential neighborhoods! Security Cameras: There are external only cameras on the premises that face certain entrance points of the home. Snow Chains: California Highway Patrol and the National Park Service may require chains in wintery/snowy/icy conditions. While we take regular preventive measures, including professional pest control, occasional visits from local wildlife—such as ants, spiders, insects, mice, or cobwebs—can occur. If you notice any of these during your stay, please let us know so we can promptly address them and ensure your comfort. Neighbors: Please do not trespass on the neighboring properties. We appreciate you respecting the local neighborhood! Maintenance: In case of emergency - Management and Management's representatives and agents have the right to enter the premises, after making reasonable attempts to contact tenants, to make any necessary repairs to maintain the health and safety of the tenants or the property. No Smoking: The Smoke Remediation Fee will be a minimum of $500 for smoking in the house and could be higher depending on the extent of the damage. Quiet Hours: Quiet Hours are from 10PM to 8AM everyday. This is a quiet, mountain area so limiting noise during these hours would be appreciated by the locals who call our area home. Check In: Check in is 4PM or anytime thereafter (it's self check in, drive safe!). Check Out: Check out is 11AM or anytime before. Hot Tub: Hot tub is checked before and after every reservation, and is professionally serviced. Pouring any soap/bubbles/bath bombs, or any other items that force us to drain and refill the water will incur a cost of $300\. Also, by agreeing to these house rules, you understand there is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY for the hot tub, and that you agree to use at your own risk. Lost items or left items: Management assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or abandoned items. Reasonable effort will be made to contact the Guest for return. There will be a $35.00 handling charge PLUS shipping costs for any found items returned at Guest's request. Management shall not be held liable for the condition of said items. Any items not claimed for longer than 30 days may be donated or sold. We also made a day trip to the Sequoia National Park to hike among the incredible trees. The game room was a hit with the teens in our group and the hot tub was a perfect spot to relax after a day in the parks. We had regular visits from a pair of quails and a bird had built a nest in the ceiling above the door to the patio. Both were entertaining to watch! The house itself was immaculate with a well equipped kitchen. It was nice to have more than just a starter supply of paper products and laundry detergent. The house itself has a lot of entertainments such as several games, ping-pong tables, Netflix, backyard, hammocks, slides, swings, etc. It is cozy, clean, relaxing and comfortable to stay. The kitchen and the bathrooms are well-equipped and well-maintained. The owner and management is very kind, nice, prompt, and easy to communicate. The location is perfect for a trip to the Yosemite National Park. There is a good ice cream shop near it, and it's close to access grocery stores and gas stations. I will definitely want to come back next time if I visit the area again. Highly recommend! :D ##### Yeon Joo L.
