Access to Yosemite and Nearby Attractions- Yosemite National Park, like many others across the United States, has implemented a reservation system in recent years to manage visitor numbers effectively. We highly recommend that visitors planning a trip to Yosemite stay informed by regularly checking the National Parks websites and affiliated sources for any updates regarding the reservation system. While we strive to provide our guests with an exceptional experience, it's important to note that access to Yosemite or nearby attractions cannot be guaranteed, especially during peak seasons. By staying informed and flexible, visitors can better navigate their travel plans and make the most out of their trip to this beautiful region. Kitchen- The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cookware, cups, silverware, and more! Our housekeeping team leaves out salt, pepper, and a can of cooking spray. Friends, family, and other guests sometimes leave spices, aluminum foil or ziploc bags at the home. You are most welcome to use any of these items, but if something is particularly crucial to the success of your meals, we do recommend bringing it along with you. Linens- Our vacation homes are some of the few in the Yosemite area to use professionally laundered linens. All linens are professionally serviced for each and every reservation. The linens are washed in commercial grade washers with stronger hypoallergenic detergent than you would find in a residential washer. All linens are then pressed with an iron at 300° F, vs. a standard home dryer that only reaches 160°. You are not likely to find this level of service in other vacation homes. \*\*Bunkbeds- Please note that due to California Worker's Compensation restrictions, housekeeping will not be able to make the top bunk prior to arrival. Fresh sheets, bedding, and pillows are absolutely provided for it though! Fireplace/Firepits- Kindly note that any type of wood burning is typically unavailable in the summer and fall months, due to heightened fire risk in the area. Propane BBQ grills are usable year round. Since the property has an adequate heating system, firewood is not provided. You are most welcome to bring any for your own ambiance if you wish, or you may use any that might be at the property left by friends, family, or other guests. Pool/Hot Tub- There is no lifeguard on duty for the pool/hot tub. Please use at your own risk. We kindly ask that you shower prior to entering the pool/hot tub. The pool is not heated, but is serviced and available year round. Pet Friendly- This property is NOT pet friendly! Parking- There is enough parking for 4-6 cars at this property. The garage is unavailable to guests, as it is used for owner storage. We appreciate you not exceeding the maximum parking limit. Many of the local roads are privately owned and privately maintained. Please be mindful to obey speed laws and drive slowly in residential neighborhoods! Early or Late Check-ins- Early check ins are often difficult for our team to accommodate. If you would like to check in early, please reach out to us after 2PM on the day of your arrival so we can check with our team. If you need guaranteed early check in, we recommend booking the night before your arrival so that you may check in as early as you wish. For checkout, most vacation homes have a 10AM check out in our area. We provide an 11AM checkout, and unfortunately can rarely offer a later checkout. Occupancy- Maximum occupancy of 16 guests regardless of age. Infants are included in the total. This is strictly enforced. No having events/weddings/large dinner gatherings/guests over just to visit. Security Cameras- There are external only cameras on the premises that face certain entrance points of the home. Chains- California Highway Patrol and the National Park Service may require chains in wintery/snowy/icy conditions. Please ensure you are bringing a vehicle and necessary equipment capable of navigating in these conditions. No Smoking- The Smoke Remediation Fee will be a minimum of $500 for smoking in the house and could be higher depending on the extent of the damage. Insurance- Travel Insurance is provided as an option during the checkout process. Please note that as hosts, we cannot protect your trip from flight delays, illnesses, weather, job loss, or other circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. We truly wish we could! We STRONGLY suggest purchasing some type of Travel Insurance so that you may protect your vacation investment from unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from making your trip. It's a nominal cost that can absolutely pay off! Mail- Due to locked neighborhood mailboxes, we ask you not mail anything to the property. You are most welcome to mail items to our office (Love Yosemite! Vacation Rentals) in Oakhurst. Please reach out to us to make arrangements. Calling Us - After booking, you are always welcome to call us at our main phone number, 24/7\. That number does not receive text messages, but you will receive a text from us after booking and you can respond to that text thread any time you like. We check text messages regularly during the day and early evening. Please note this property is nestled in the breathtaking Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, offering a serene escape into nature. However, being in such a pristine environment means that you may occasionally encounter some of nature's residents, such as ants, spiders, insects, mice, and cobwebs. We take every precaution, including regularly scheduled professional pest control to minimize these occurrences, but they are a natural part of the mountain experience and may get past our defenses from time to time. If you do notice any of this during your stay, please let us know so we can promptly address them and ensure your comfort. Neighbors- Please do not trespass on the neighboring properties. We appreciate you respecting the local neighborhood! Internet- Peer-to-peer (for example bit torrent) and downloads of copyrighted and illegal material are strictly forbidden by United States law and our internet provider actively monitor these activities. Guests are fully responsible for any illegal uploading or downloading of content and for other illegal activities. By agreeing to the House Rules, you agree to not perform any illegal activities using the home\`s internet connection. From the pool and slide, to the jacuzzi, game garage, piano, puzzles, games, and books, every detail was well thought-out to ensure all guests enjoy their stay. The bedrooms and common areas were spacious, the kitchen well equipped, and the entire house was clean. Communication was excellent: Courtney was extremely helpful and responsive. The location of the house is perfect too: close enough to town to stock up while still feeling tucked away in the mountains with privacy. The house itself is in impeccable condition -- everything works, is clean, well labeled (that really helps) and just a great space for a group this large to really enjoy. The game room was an absolute highlight, the pool is fantastic and waking up to the gorgeous views ain't so bad either. Can not say enough positive about our stay. Walking in the front door and seeing the stunning view is the best part. The office team was fantastic dealing with a couple of minor problems. The cleaning team, however, needs to improve. The kitchen floor, counter and table all need a deep clean to get rid of the “stickiness” of all. On a positive note, the large round table with lazy-susan was awesome for our meals, games, and gathering around for chats and laughs. It sat ten of us very comfortably. The pool was awesome, but the outdoor furniture was very “tired!”. The longe area under the shade was really appreciated but well used. There was one resin lounger and four very uncomfortable wooden chairs around the pool. They were small, old and very difficult to get in and out of. Comfortable pool loungers with cushions would have been perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, cups, silverware etc. There were several electric appliances. There are no cooking are baking supplies or any condiments as we have found other times when renting from VRBO, so bring all of your own supplies.The “bunkhouse” is actually the garage with a cement floor. I recommend larger area rugs when adults stay there. First of all the location is perfect! It is minutes away from Oakhurst, Bass Lake and about 25 minutes from the South Gate to Yosemite. Secondly, the amenities the home offers are next level: hot tub, pool, and EPIC game room, no palace, located in a workshop adjacent to the house. Third, there are so many areas to gather and hang out: the dining room, living room, indoor/outdoor picnic table, poolside gazebo,etc. The place is huge and plenty of space to spread out. Originally, we were supposed to have 10 guys there but life happens and 5 had to cancel. However, we plan to book this spot again next year and we will not worry one bit about enough sleeping space. Lastly, one of the first things I noticed walking in was how they put in the effort to label light switches, drawers, etc. Saved a ton of time trying to figure out what light was what.
