My family of 4 plus a friend and her son stayed here the second week in August 2023\. The three kids are ages 12, 13, 14\. There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone. The adults enjoyed privacy while the kids loved the bunk room. We all enjoyed lazy mornings on the front porch sipping coffee and swinging on the porch swing. The pool was a huge hit! We used it daily, sometimes multiple times. The golf cart was also a hit. The kids loved getting to go on golf cart rides to sunset slush and dairy queen and sometimes nowhere in particular - just for the fun of riding on the golf cart. The location of this house is wonderful as well. There's a small view of the river/waterway from the front porch and there is a cute park about 1 block away with a swing and a small dock. The sunset on the dock was beautiful and we even caught a few fish there. The beach is a short walk as well. Maybe 10 minutes. The house is also within walking distance from a coffee shop, a brewery and a popular restaurant. The host, Toni, was easy to get in touch with a quick to respond. She also sent over her cleaning staff to try to remedy the lock, which didn't work. We ended up using a physical key for the weekend. The second issue was we were unable to use the golf cart. Again, I contacted the host and she sent a maintenance person over who said we just needed to release the emergency brake (we did do that prior to leaving but by the time he arrived we were already at the beach). When we returned, I did try again and still could not get the cart started. This was a bigger issue because we paid a premium for golf cart use. I think of the three issues we encountered, the lukewarm water was my biggest concern. The heatless tank is in the main bathroom. The temperature on the tank reads 100 degrees, which is not very hot.
