This quintessential 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom OKI pet-friendly vacation rental situated on Kings Lynn in the quiet West Point area has everything you need and more! Kick back and relax in one of the rocking chairs on the massive covered porch or take your pick between multiple balconies that overlook the ocean and the marsh. With beach access just a quick walk away, the location is truly impressive and is perfect for taking your furry family members along for your coastal adventures. You'll also be a short walk to The Point, Lonerider at Oak Island, and minutes from all of the other popular restaurants, attractions, and shopping venues the island has to offer. When you're ready to head inside, you'll be welcomed into a spacious open living space that beautifully blends traditional and coastal styles together! There's plenty of comfortable seating for everyone in your family or group, a sizable ottoman to kick your feet up, and a large flatscreen TV. The kitchen is only a couple of steps away and features stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and a huge center island with bar seating for 4\. For those days that you'll be preparing meals at your home away from home, the dining area can seat up to 8\. And, the real highlight of this floor is the enormous covered porch that boasts 6 rocking chairs and additional seating for up to 4\. Should you need additional space for groceries, drinks, or your catch of the day, there's even a second refrigerator downstairs! Down the hallway on this main floor, you'll find two of the four bedrooms — both with queen size beds. The first downstairs guest bedroom features a large flatscreen tv, desk, and an upgraded ensuite bathroom with a large tiled walk-in shower. The second downstairs guest bedroom also has a writing desk and has easy access to the hall bath with an oversized tiled walk-in shower. At the top of the stairs on the second floor is one of our favorite rooms in the house! It's a bonus living space with vaulted ceilings, flatscreen TV, and direct access to the top balcony that offers absolutely stunning ocean and marsh views. This “Captain's Perch”, with its built-in seating, offers a fantastic spot for watching the breathtaking Oak Island sunsets from up high! Down the stairs outside is where you'll find the sundeck with multiple lounger chairs. Back inside, the vaulted ceilings extend into both of the bedrooms on this floor as well. The incredible master bedroom suite features a comfortable king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a large vanity and custom tiled walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom is fabulous for the younger travelers in your group — with two sets of twin-size bunk beds, a separate twin bed, and easy access to the fourth bathroom with a tub/shower combination. If you love being outdoors and listening to the soothing sounds of the waves kissing the beach, this is the ideal vacation home for you! We loved the house. It was very clean. It was a few minute walk from the beach. The only thing that went wrong was the freezer handle was loose. We were very careful but it did fall off our last night there. We love Oak Island and it will be one of our regular vacation spots. It has 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds and 4 nicely recently remodeled full bathrooms. And comparable to nearby alternatives an affordable price. You can see the beach from the recently remodeled deck that wraps most of the house. It is a short walk on the road to the beach; we found renting a golf cart provides convenience for transporting chairs and coolers. We were very pleased to have access to a second refrigerator/freezer in the basement where we kept extra ice and drinks. Linens were provided and nice. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner on arrival and we had to wash one of the comforters, but the washer and dryer were new and easily resolved the later issue. This property is dog friendly (although we ended up not bringing our dog) so I didn't expect the newest of furnishings, but would still give it high marks. We would stay there again. ##### Tad W.
