Conch West is a modern beach cottage found on the second row of Oak Island's west end. It features a well-stocked, modern kitchen and a dining area that seats six, with three additional seats at the bar. You can also dine al fresco using the table on deck while enjoying the beach view. The views continue indoors with a south facing view through large picture windows, which is shaded by a wooden canopy. The primary bedrooms feature a Queen bed in one and a king bed in the other. A third bedroom has custom built-in bunks with extra-large full mattresses (sleeping four comfortably). There are four TV's, all with cable and internet TV (one Amazon Fire TV Stick, three with Roku; guests use own accounts for internet TV). Other amenities include an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a storage room with full size washer and dryer, park-style grill, picnic table, and covered parking for two. Have fun in the sun with beach chairs, toys, paddle board, and three bicycles. Outdoor firepit and outdoor tiki bar with television are also included for your leisure.

Guests with allergies should note that although no pets are allowed for guest stays, dogs may occasionally be present during owner reservations.

Amazing House

This house is perfect for a family! Every inch of the property is well thought out and utilized. The access to the beach is a very short walk and the view from the porch is gorgeous. All of the small details from the decor to the outdoor TV area to the beach toys…this house has it all…even an old school record player!

The property is just as it is listed and even better once seen in person. The owners have utilized every bit of space to make it a perfect vacation home. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) loved staying and can’t wait to book again next summer.

Did not Disappoint!

This was our 1st trip to Oak Island and what a surprise! We had an amazing time and this property was outstanding - the décor, location and offerings superb. It was super clean, comfortable and the room downstairs had everything needed for a great weekend, especially the loved the outdoor TV. Definitely returning!

Most amazing VRBO stay ever!

Our family has been coming to Oak Island for quite some time. We found this adorable beach cottage and thought it looked perfect for our family-my husband and me, plus our 3 kids. I can't even tell you how amazing this house was. It's the best find we've ever had with VRBO. It's clean, fresh, true to the pictures they posted. It was close to the beach and had 2 separate beach access locations that were so easy to get to. We loved sitting on the porch and having our morning coffee while watching the ocean. The owners have made the most of every square inch of the house and you can tell everything so was so well thought out! It truly felt like staying at a friends house. They allowed us access to nearly everything in their home-there were some beach chairs we borrowed, a boogie board, and we enjoyed hanging out in their outdoor area with the fire pit. The living room is cozy, the furniture is clean and comfortable-it was the perfect spot for movie nights after being at the beach all day. They are so generous to share their lovely place with vacationers. I highly recommend and we would love to visit again sometime!!

Great house, but management company not that great.

This was a nice house, clean and well-decorated with views of the ocean and it is a really short walk to the public-beach access. The company that manages this property is not that great however. First, we got there fairly late the first night and there were no linens on the beds or towels or toilet paper. We called and email the after-hours number and email but never heard back that night. They did drop off a bag of towels and linens on the deck the next morning. Also, they tried to get each of us to sign an extensive legal document right before we came that had a bunch of ridiculous stuff regarding COVID.

The most incredible beach home!

We have been coming to Oak Island for 30+ years for our family reunion and when I tell you that this home was the perfect home - it is no exaggeration! The home was clean, perfect set up for hanging out both inside and outside. We had our three small kids, and every single one of us had the time of our lives! The outdoor shower was amazing and the fire pit was a fun added bonus!! The house (and kitchen) were equipped with everything we could’ve needed!!!! Beach access was so close and the porch was phenomenal! Check in was extremely easy (and earlier than expected!) I couldn’t complain even if I wanted to! Well done, conch west!!! 1000% recommend this home!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Excellent property

Clean, cute, well stacked kitchen. Comfortable beds and easy checkin/checkout. Many guest amenities for the beach and fire pit. Very close to beach access, and the outdoor shower was great. Perfect for two couples with 2 kids or less each.
