This recently remodeled beachfront home is one of the most up-to-date properties on the beach, offering comfort, space, and unforgettable views. Listen to the soothing rumble of the ocean just steps outside this 4,000 sq. ft., 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath beachfront home. There’s no long walk to the shore—simply step over the rock bulkhead and you’re at the beach. (Photos truly show how close it is.) For easier access, a public beach entrance is also available just a few blocks south at the park. The views are exceptional. The home faces due west over the Strait of Juan de Fuca, offering stunning sunsets. Look south toward the Olympic Peninsula, northwest to the San Juan Islands, and north toward Anacortes. On clear evenings, you can even see the lights of Victoria, BC. All four bedrooms are located upstairs: Primary bedroom: King bed with a private en-suite bathroom Bunk room: Two queen beds on the lower level and two Twin XL beds above Third bedroom: King bed Fourth bedroom: Queen bed with a private en-suite bathroom An additional full bathroom is located in the hallway between bedrooms two and three. We stayed at Dean & Suzanne's VRBO in September 2023 and the word my family kept saying all week was - Wow! The pictures on the website were pretty but in-person this VRBO is even more beautiful. We saw the spout of a whale from the living room and a sea lion catching a salmon from a bedroom. The view was so relaxing and remarkable, but the furniture was amazingly comfortable too. For example, often with VRBO's it is hard to find a place that has a dining room table big enough so everyone can eat together. This VRBO has that and the dining room chairs are super comfortable. So too was the furniture throughout the whole house. You could just chill out and talk or read or look out the window for hours. Also, I don't sleep as well as I used to when I was younger but on this vacation I slept so incredibly well. The sound of the waves were extremely relaxing. They created a beautiful white noise that even with many people in the house it meant that if others were staying up late or getting up early, they were not waking up everyone else. And several family members commented on how comfortable the beds were. I whole heartedly recommend this property if you are wanting a vacation or just some down time in a beautiful location.
