« After we cleaned some areas we could manage,we were a little surprised that it didnt say on the website that there is a spiral stairs. Also some of the furniture is outdated and noticed a chair was ziptied so that wasnt quite comfortable knowing.. »

« We arrived on a Sunday night and checked out on Friday. Our stay at Blue Town Tidehome was incredible to say the least. We found the property far exceeded our expectations. So much was included with the property, including lawn chairs, kayaks, boogie boards, bikes, etc. The communication with the owners was excellent and very timely. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a great place to stay. »

« I and my friends had a great stay at Sailor's Rest in Chincoteague, VA. It was the perfect place to relax, cook, and enjoy a long weekend. The house is within a short driving distance from everything (and you can walk too) and the beach is just 3 miles away. I would recommend for anyone wanting a weekend away in Chincoteague. »

« House was lovely with fabulous views, but AC didn't work. The fans in the hallway told us that the owner knew they have an issue. Upstairs bedrooms were unbearable. Rental agency offered to move us, but the other properties didn't border the water or have of the lighthouse. Requested a discount and never heard back from them. »

« We had an amazing time at the purple door! We wrre able to brimg our fur baby which was a HUGE plus. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived knowing we made a good choice. Its a very cute little place. There was never a claim to be a luxury, upscale rental. Yes there could be a few updates. The air conditioner worked fine for us in a heatwave.
