"Beautiful beach hotel in a peaceful neighborhood"
Beautiful charming hotel with attentive staff. From the moment my husband & I pulled up to the lobby we were treated like royalty. Our room overlooked the dolphin lagoon & was clean, large, peaceful & we especially liked the his & hers closets & vanities. The massages & facials at the spa were amazing, as were the private treatment rooms & estheticians. We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Hokus & had a delicious & memorable dinner! I can't say enough about the hotel beach & the beautiful grounds. The Kahala Hotel & Resort is by far our favorite hotel! We will definitely be back again very soon!

The greeting was great, and the hotel looks amazing. The room and all facilities were very clean. Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful, other staff was still nice but not as helpful at times (like when trying to get Ketchup). My favorite aspects were having a separate toilet from the bath area, The lazy river, and the amenities like having umbrellas that you don't have to pay extra to sit under. Some of the down sides - Seeing Mickey was great but it was unclear when you could take pictures with him. One line had you wait only to find out you had to pay for the character breakfast for some obscene price. Parking is pretty expensive compared to all the other areas. They did need a curling iron. The hotel was also very difficult about having a visitor or guest at the pool (basically they didn't allow us to bring a guest to the pool). Bands are required to be at the pool. Compared to some of the other areas I saw while we were there, this is one hotel I'd stay at again. Even though it was very crowded on the weekend, it was still less crazy than Waikiki.

"Not what you expect from a 5 star hotel"
Was not greeted the same way as other hotels . The rooms were old and dusty just the upkeep is not there. Nothing is provided by the hotel, no free parking, no free snokel gear ect. Internet is free. They however do not charge resort fee so I guess that makes a bit more sense. The staff is very nice and friendly. Gave us a free photo and sparkling wine for our honeymoon. What I am saying is this hotel is great but not for the price.

"Great location for shopping, dining, and beach."
Received the room we requested. Lots of undisciplined kids at the pool. Room was quiet considering it was on main street "which faced the ocean". Other than the kids by the pool, it was a very nice experience.

"Excellent stay at Hilton Hawaiian Village - "
The stay was nice and hotel personal was excellent. We have been here three times ( every five years for Anniv). I am complaining about the parking cost as this zapped alot of my funds. I also think you guys should have advised me earlier that I was staying in a suite and which tower. I could have planned differently and checked in differently. Overall, very nice and I would do this again

"GREAT hotel, friendly staff and good services."
First time in Honolulu, location is convenient, and the hotel has free shuttle to multiple locations on wakiki all day, which is very thoughtful. Staff are helpful with any questions or complaints!
