"Pleasant resort with plenty to do"
I enjoyed my stay at the resort, plenty of amenities and I wasn't short of things to do in the hotel and out. It's a shame it seems like one big shopping mall but I guess that is Waikiki in a nutshell. I would still strongly recommend this hotel - I enjoyed the free Hula and Ukulele lessons, however, I would advise taking time to travel to the north and west of the island where there is far more beauty. Waikiki claims that it has the best beach but it is in fact an artificial beach, with the sand taken from the ACTUAL best beach in the USA, Hanauma Bay (voted 2015 and 2016). The tours and activities desks around the hotel are very useful, the staff are extremely pleasant and will help you plan what to do during your stay. I cannot speak any higher of the Blue Hawaii Circle Island Photo tour, best thing I did by far! Also the Manoa Waterfall trail is great fun, easy 1 km walk and 20 mins taxi ride away ($25 one-way). You can walk to lots of places or take a bus too, just plan timings wisely.

"Nice hotel with friendly staff"
Hotel deposits are pricey and confusing. Hotel staffs did not explained the deposit process throughly (i.e., the hotel takes $100 deposit for each night. However, if you charge a meal or anything to your room, the hotel will process your credit card again in the amount you charge to your room to ensure you have that initial $100).

"Hawaii20thAnnivrsary"
Overall this Hotel customer service was completely outstanding from the first day throughout. Brian the front desk check in representative was hands down the best customer representative I've ever seen. My wife is rarely impressed with hotel personnel, but Brain was very polite and extremely professional. We celebrated our 20th year anniversary on this trip. And yes we will be returning in 6 months because of Brian's attention to detail and great service.

"Clogged plumbing & noisy next door neighbour"
The 1st night was bad, placed into a room which had a joint door with noisy neighbours, along with a bathtub that did not drain. After complaining we were moved the next night for the rest of the stay to a better room. At least the hotel took action, thanks for the responsiveness, this is why I'd recommed this hotel

"Nice hotel undergoing renovations"
Room was beautiful - I could not fault it but it is undergoing a series of renovations which meant that the pool was still old and the general feel of the facilities was poor. I couldn't use the balcony. Overall it was good but a little expensive when you pay extra for facilities.

"beautiful hotel, very expensive"
Everything about this hotel is fantastic, location, staff, cleanliness and comfort. The only draw back is the price of everything from the restaurant and bar, to the shops. It is definitely a place for those with deep pockets. If you want a hotel that will provide excellent memories, this is the place.

This is our forth time to stay there. Every time there has been an issue with the room booked, so we have to accept a lesser room. This time we had no balcony when the room that was booked had one.

"Always comfortable"
The hotel is undergoing major renovations. The registration area has been moved as a new, more relaxing type of registration area is developed. The rooms are nice. The restaurant has a nice new bar which overlooks the ocean and the yachts. Nice and comfortable. The staff, from the valet to registration are pleasant.
