"Historical, Colonial-like hotel right on the beach"
It was a lovely experience right in the heart of Waikiki. There was so much to do right when walking out of our hotel. We started the morning with Yoga and got ready to tackle the day. One of our favorite things to do was sit in the bar restaurant right on the water and watch the sunset and surfers. Great spot to relax!

"beautiful hotel, very expensive"
Everything about this hotel is fantastic, location, staff, cleanliness and comfort. The only draw back is the price of everything from the restaurant and bar, to the shops. It is definitely a place for those with deep pockets. If you want a hotel that will provide excellent memories, this is the place.

"Close to beach, shops, fine dinning and great view"
We were lucky to have been upgraded to a room with a beach view. The room was very comfortable, but didn't have a coffeemaker or a tub. The pool area was very nice but we didn't use it because of the rain. The hotel has a very good concierge services that help with tour arrangements. We asked if we could check out after 12PM since we were taking a tour returning at 1PM and they were kind enough to do that for us. We were very thankful. They also stored our luggage the entire evening given the fact of our late night flight. No extra fees or surprise fees in the hotel, everything is very straight forward. We enjoyed happy hour in the lobby with very good cocktails and live music, excellent after a busy day at the beach. We definitely would like to return to this hotel.

"Close to beach and yet away from crowds."
We really liked the staff in the hotel. The rooms were surprisingly large and comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. It is just 2 blocks away from the beach and the noise of the main avenue. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops just around the corner. If you like to run try to go to the left facing the sea and you will be running by the shore and the park, avoid going to the right otherwise people will be on your way... any time of the day. The breakfast was nice, fruit, breads, cereals, eggs and a type of miso soup. The coffee was not bad but I was expecting better quality. In general the place was nice.

"Clogged plumbing & noisy next door neighbour"
The 1st night was bad, placed into a room which had a joint door with noisy neighbours, along with a bathtub that did not drain. After complaining we were moved the next night for the rest of the stay to a better room. At least the hotel took action, thanks for the responsiveness, this is why I'd recommed this hotel

"Hotel was well located."
Hotel was well located within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and beaches. As there was a large group of us we used to meet most days for happy hour before dinner and bar staff were particularly friendly. Overall a pleasant experience.
