"Great location "
We were in the Tower, 13th floor. Partial view and it was great. We saw the sunsets from our room. Room was clean. We ordered 2 types of flower arrangements for our anniversary but it was not in the room when we checked in. Front desk check-in is slow and next few days when we needed service from front desk, there was always a line due to only 2 people working at the desk. Valet service was good but to get your car back took 10-15 min since it was parked in the Princess Kualani across the street. We self-parked after the first day. Beach Bar-night service was awful and slow. We sat at the bar instead of one of the tables under the Banyan Tree for an actual service. Loved the rocking chairs on the front. Beach location was perfect and views of Diamond Head beautiful.

"We love this place!"
The first time we came to Hawaii was for our honeymoon 7 years ago; we stayed at the Ilikai. We were impressed by the views, the size of the room, the staff, the location - just everything was perfect for us. Since that time we have stayed at other hotels but yet none compare to this one. We love the new upgrades they have done since then - very modern and clean! We picked this hotel because of the kitchen and the ability to safe some money by cooking our own meals. If you go, make sure you stay on a Friday night with the room facing Diamond Head because the Hilton puts on a firework show - that is a sure way to start your vacation off right! The staff is helpful, the rooms were cleaned by wonderful housekeepers; just an overall perfect place to be!

"close to the beach"
I loved the location. A couple blocks from Waikiki Beach but far enough away from the multitudes of tourists. Very walkable to all shopping and dining facilities. Easy to negotiate the bus line. This hotel was near the Royal Hawaiian Moped Rental which we rented for five days. It made super easy access to the mopeds for parking was an issue on the island. We were able to park the mopeds at the business location and not have to worry about finding a place to house them for the night. The staff was very courteous here and would step up to see if there was anything they could do if you had a questioning look on your face. You didn't even have to ask. The breakfast was from 6:30 to 9:30 every morning and AMAZING. Very plentiful! The breakfast staff even visited with you while they worked to encourage you to visit various locations around the island and they would share with you where they, the locals, go to eat and shop. A PLUS when you are trying to make your dollars go as far as possible. Would definitely recommend the Hyatt Place. They have everything.

Love this hotel good genuine Hawaiian feeling, not too big and overwhelming but still big enough to have all the facilities needed, staff great, very close to beach, good entertainment every night, drinks on balcony watching the band at sunset can't beat it.
