I was on the 26th floor of Tapa tower. I had a wonderful view of the ocean and sunset. Everyone on the property was so nice.

Hotel & location was good and beaches were great, much less crowded than central Waikiki. Easy walk to all the action when you're ready for it. Parking was a rip off and the key scanner to get in and out of the garage was not working on several occasions so it created gridlock at the gates. We ate at three of the restaurants on site and only can recommend one and that is the Blue Shrimp place, went twice and awesome food and good value both times. The two i would avoid are the Tropical cafe who's food was expensive and tasteless. Go there for bloody mary's in the morning, they were good. Second is CJ's cafe, I have nothing good to say about it. We did the luau here as well and if you're expecting a buffet dinner show you will be happy, that's basically what it was. After we did this we learned of better luaus on the island that should have been considered but they are a little less convenient to get to. All in all this is a good resort and i would recommend it to family and friends.

Nice hotel with lots of shops and restaurants. Minus one star for the parking, it’s so expensive $80 for valet. If you don’t have a car then this is the perfect hotel. By the beach, several restaurants to eat at, ice cream, stores to shop. Also did not like that the jacuzzi closes at 6pm and waterslide opens at 11am. Overall, great family hotel.

This was our first resort experience as a family. It was amazing! We didn’t really need to leave the local area as all of our amenities were met. We did choose to rent a vehicle to explore outside of the city. The parking was simple. We had a room in the Tapa Tower and it was clean, updated and modern. We didn’t want to leave and really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay! The check in was seamless with very helpful staff and we got a nice upgrade for a discount. The only pain point was that the lobby and surrounding areas were very busy and hectic.

noise level unbearable. the pool screaming and live music can ALWAYS be heard indoors and walls between rooms might as well not be there. not only the extremely loud plumbing from adjacent rooms but i can also hear ALARM CLOCK NEXT DOOR which has never happened in any hotel. for a resort that charged $400 a day it was not soundproof at all. on a side note there was no USB chargers in the room which i would expect any modern hotel to have.

This property is so crowded .The pools are old and you can't find any seats. Really not kid friendly. Property neads a complete update! The beach is also extremely crowded. I do not recommend!

Upon arrival, the valet was so busy, so backed up that we ended up self-parking at $69 a night. I have never ever, not even in a major city (NY, Toronto, Vancouver or LA) ever paid $69 to park my vehicle by myself. Furthermore, we asked for an early check-in and paid the additional $75. Upon entering the room, it looked relatively set, until we decided to take a shower, the previous guest hair was in the tub and on the wall, we were completely grossed out. The hotel did not offer any apology other than changing the room. I don’t believe I would stay at this property again.

Check in was delayed and complicated by their inaccuracy. Instead of being helpful and solution focused they made me responsible for calling expedia customer service who was them able to solve the issue. The property is not indeed on the beach/ water instead their is a somewhat sketchy public park between. The hallways were dingy, bedding sparse and the pool was tiny and the area around it tiny. Historically I have found Hilton budget properties clean and nice but this one was a huge disappointment. I was glad this was a one night stop and would be heartbroken had this been my big vacation stay in Kauai.

Nice resort but very crowded. Difficult to get a chair at the pool. We were lucky if we found 1 chair. Pool was also a little cold. The crowding caused very long lines for coffee and check in.
