« This was a great place to stay, especially for the price in a tourist area! It is very close off I-5, yet secluded and quiet. Self check in is easy and they communicate with you at various points to make everything easy. It was clean, comfortable and had great AC, that was blissfully quiet. Great breakfasts you order the night before and they bring to you in the morning. Convenient access to any extras you need like ice, extra coffee, condiments, etc. Really enjoyed our stay. « The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay. »

« This was just a one-night stopover on our way to a family reunion in Oregon, but it was really pleasant. Google maps took us to a neighboring apartment complex (across the backyard fence from the home) but once we found our way, everything was really nice. Also appreciate the property's dog-friendly policy! We used the BBQ, had a nice dinner, slept well (thanks to the AC, which worked well and quickly), and were on our way. Thanks again! »
