"My room, the views, landscaping/grounds, quality of the facilities, and food at this hotel are all superb and honestly in my view worthy of a much heftier rate. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this Nuwara Eliya!"

"Its a property about 7 km away from town. Its a beautifully built property . As i understand it has 6 rooms, and a pool table in the loft. Great staff. There is no lift but its not an issue. There are small things they need to see to. Like salt and pepper shakers ( rather than sticking your fingers into the salt/pepper jar. ) there are no tissues in the room/bathroom. No hand washers - but lovely towels. The scenery from the small restaurant is amazing. This is place i may stay at again"

"We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Originally a booking for 2 nights, they made sure we could stay in the same room. Clean and convenient. Good breakfast or breakfast packs on the go. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, always looking after us. "

"Great value stay at this once state of the art 1930s hotel. Full of old world charm, white cotton sheets, surprised they were not starched. Huge bedrooms and with a bath. Big breakfast in the period dining room. Ideally situated and next door to the Grand Hotel with more opulence. "

"Our stay at the Galway Heights Hotel may not have happened as I had booked the wrong night for accommodation! Dilshan and the team went beyond expectations and found 2 rooms for our travelling group (the last 2!)...was kind enough to show us the room and see if it met our expectations and had them both freshened up so that we could be comfortable for the night. The team at this hotel bent over backwards to help us, the room was big, comfortable and clean and the team in the restaurant were just as nice (the dining room is a work of art). The only thing to be wary of is that the rooms let in a fair bit of noise, so don't forget to pack your ear plugs!"

"A lovely stay at the Heritance Tea Factory. It's a repurposed tea estate factory, with just 50 rooms. Great service, and good a la carte options. Tea here is super, but coffee drinkers will be disappointed. "

"Lovely classic old hotel. Perfect position to walk into town but also a bit on the quieter side too. Nice walks around quiet neighboring houses too. It’s a beautiful historic building with exceptional gardens. The rooms are spacious and older in style, so some people might not like the older quirks, but we loved it and would definitely recommend it. The staff were all very friendly and the food in the buffet breakfast was excellent plus the Indian restaurant on the entrance side of the property was great too. Loved our stay there. "

"This hotel was just average. The grounds and gardens around the hotel were beautiful and well maintained, but they can do a better job with the interior. The sheets had tears in them and the towels looked very worn. We were also informed that the wifi would not be working during our stay. All the rooms are located in one building, the walls are very thin so you can hear other guests talking and doors closing. Staff was wonderful!"
