My name is Donovan. The condo is 20 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. Skip the high costs of hotels and timeshares--enjoy the same amenities and fun! Our condo sleeps 7 in 5 beds. There are 3 1/2 bathrooms. The master bathroom includes a custom installed 8 jet jacuzzi tub. Also available, one outdoor hot/cold running water bath tub on the balcony--also custom. There is a full-size clothes washer and dryer. Do not hang clothes on balconies, please. The birds will steal them and use them for nest-making material. Yes - cable television. No - telephone. Yes - internet (login info is provided on the router). Yes - swimming pool access at the condo's beautiful and incredibly long pool and towel service (available in condo lobby). Our enormous pool is heated! Public beach access is within walking distance just past the Dolphin Adventure habitat. Grand Mayan/Vidanta beach, waterpark, lazy river, temple water slide, wave pools, kids club, gym/spa and pool access is available for an extra fee of ($10 USD) per bracelet. Limit of 7 people. Grocery stores at Grand Mayan/Vidanta Plaza or at Paradise Village Plaza are within reach on foot for more active individuals or by taxi (Paradise Village) for less active individuals. Walmart is also within reach by a 10 minute taxi drive. Grand Mayan/Vidanta Restaurants are within walking distance or by cart service (provided by condo security staff). There are 18 resort restaurants with cuisine options that include Asian (Gong), Italian (Tramonto), American Deli (Balance), and Mexican (Epazote or Taco Break). Additional restaurant options for breakfast, lunch and dinner are available nearby at Paradise Village Plaza. Our condo overlooks the Vidanta Golf Course. This course is open to visitors (but expensive). Let us know if you wish to play golf during your stay. We can get you discounts. Condo kitchen includes a proper full-size baking oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and refrigerator. Daily maid service provides one kitchen dish washing per day. Normally this would be a 5-star review because it is a nice property, great price and in a good location. However, if you have actually stayed on the Vidanta Resort (Grand Mayan, Grand Luxxe, etc) you will most likely be disappointed. While located very close in proximity to Vidanta, and technically is part of Vidanta, this Condo feels very separate. Some people may like that. it's much more secluded and quiet. But you can only access the main resort via a golf cart which has to be called every time you want to go or return to the condo. Even though you are only a few hundred yards from other units, there are no walking trails connecting this to Vidanta, which means that every trip to the pools, gym, La Plaza or dining within Vidanta will have to start after you get dropped off at the Taxi stand...not really central to anything which means at least 1, if not 2 more cart rides depending on where you are going. That adds quite a bit of time and complexity getting to/from the resort. On the other hand, if you are looking for a very large condo that can hold lots of people, with a beautiful HUGE,pool and you want to hang out and maybe venture over to the Vidanta resort once or twice during the week, then this is a great option. It had lots of space, the pool was huge and warm, and completely uncrowded. And unlike the units at Vidanta, it was really nice having a washer & dryer right there in our unit (though it is just outside of the 3rd bedroom and can make it noisy for whoever is staying in there). One note about the 3rd bedroom. It is VERY small, much smaller than the other 2 which are good sized, it's maybe only 7x9 with a full-size bed.and a small night stand (there isn't room for anything else). And this room only has a small 4" duct running AC into it, so it does not cool like the rest of the house and will be hotter than the other rooms. Overall it's a beautiful unit,and Donovan is 1st class in his service. But because of the separation from Vidanta and small 3rd bedroom I can't quite give it 5 stars. ##### Craig P. The suite was very spacious with big bright windows with a beautiful view over the golf course and pool which was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with a new fridge and stove that I loved. We had friends over for supper and everything we needed was there. They had a wonderful new king size bed that was so comfortable. New washing machine was awesome. We were warmly greeted by the staff on arrival. They were very helpful and friendly. It was a very quite and relaxing place to return to after a busy day at the beach and Grand Mayan resort. Many good restaurants nearby either within walking distance or by security golf cart. Also many restaurants within a short cab ride. Also we took the bus into Puerto Vallarta to the Melacon and many more excellent restaurants.
