Living rooms include sleeper sofas to accommodate maximum number of guests per room. Because the resort books quickly, booking at least 6 months out or earlier can help guarantee the dates you wish to travel. Availability from January through March is very tight, so reservations for this period should be made as far in advance as possible. Reservation dates can be modified up to 30 days prior to check in. Our experience has been that views of the golf course, river, jungle, mountains, and downtown are all spectacular. Payment at the resort is cashless; you may use your credit card or register your credit card at check in to get set up for a signature-only payment system. A small municipal tax of around $7 (depending on the value of the pesos to dollar) is charged each day. Restaurant prices are comparable to most popular eateries in the U.S. Meal packages may purchased that include six breakfasts/ lunch and six dinners for a discounted cost. Because this is a membership resort, an offer to attend an informational (sales) meeting that includes a free breakfast, discounts on tours and resort activities, and 10% off food and beverage at check-out is presented at check in. It is optional and there is no obligation to attend. Grand Luxxe units are also available at Vidanta's sister resorts of Riviera Maya, and under development at Los Cabos.
