The owners were very friendly. We stayed in the London room and I would definitely stay here again. Great location into the centre of Nottingham. Overall great stay.

Lovely, quirky, delightful place. Had a great themed triple room for my friends and I. The breakfasts and choice of breakfasts were superb. A 15-minute walk from town. On a busy road, aware of the traffic noise as I chose to have the window open at night. But was everything we needed, and gave us a great stay.

We stayed in the new york room . Very large, comfortable. Apart from noisy metal furnishings (wardrobe, bed side cabinets, side board) it was a good room.

Marina and David were great and welcoming hosts to my wife and me. The Parisian room we stayed in was elegant, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The property was private, secure, and peaceful. There are many great restaurants, pubs, and parks for walking in the nearby area. We enjoyed a perfectly prepared multi-course breakfast by the hosts in the morning catered to our dietary needs. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend!

Got a second floor room without a life. No extension phone or staff to take care of the problems that arose. The room is nothing like the pictures. Overall - bad stay.

We arrived an hour before booking in time after a long journey and checked whether we could park there. They say first impressions are are everything. Well, the male was rude and not welcoming, telling us we couldn’t book in and to come back at 3. But gave us our room key. So it was a little confusing. The room was smaller than expected although the bed was comfy. The decoration, whilst intended to be unique per room, was a little odd. Wallpaper peeling from a wall. But they do add little touches you wouldn’t get in a chain hotel.

Friendly owners, very unique guest bedrooms as every room themed, lots of amenities in the room, location close to the town centre arena etc, parking outside if you get there early enough but quite pricey

Mama's Inn over all was great, we were greeted warmly by the owner when we checked in and shown to our room. It suited our needs for the night and was a large comfortable triple room, very quirky in its'London' theme of decoration, good wifi and a decent shower. We went out for a large dinner the evening we arrived and so passed on the £14 breakfast on offer (a little steep in price although to be fair I didn't know what was on offer). As my husband gets up extremely early, it would have been ideal if there had been a downstairs area to sit in quietly and do some work and also get a fresh brewed cup of coffee (hates instant!), but even though one of the owners was around, this unfortunately wasn't possible, so he took himself off to a nearby hotel. A good one off experience for us.

Totally unique
Staying at Mama's Inn was just a fabulously unique experience. Marina and David were charming hosts the room was fantastical, clean and comfortable. I just hope I can find another reason to visit Nottingham in order to stay there again.

Quirky Guest House.
Quirky little place, met 2 people from the Guest House, one was friendlier than the other. Something a little different, unfortunately our room was a little cramped and the bed was uncomfortable as the mattress tilted inwards. I would recommend booking a larger room as some of the others on the way out looked a lot bigger than our room. A genuine and friendly goodbye on our departure. I wish them well.

I love the fact the rooms have a different look. For example Paris... I didn't like how the the staff room was right underneath us and the fact the heating was on a timer so when the heating is off its cold.

Guests have option for requesting a quiet room and we strictly observe quiet time after 11pm. Heating in rooms can be increased or decreased on demand and when you asked for a higher temperature in your room we provided. Wonderful food, amazing and unique decor. The owners couldnt be more friendly and helpful. Definitely will be booking again, just need an excuse to go.

The first impressions are not good with gate ganging off hinges but internally it is pleasantly and thankfully better. Owner is friendly and hotel has a personal experience.

We do keep the gate open for guests to enter without the need to undo any locking mechanisms but strong wind sometimes keep it too welcoming and open wide. we was really disappointed with our room, wasn't how pictures showed it, was very small and cramped. The worst part for us was the bed, neither myself or partner slept due to a sloping mattress in the middle and a very noisy squeaky frame. cold tap had no running water.

Our room was cramped with a lot of furniture which left no room once our bags had been placed on the floor. Novel decor. The heating did not come on and whilst it was not freezing, we would have appreciated the towel rail being on. The bedlinen could do with a refresh as it is work and dated. Unfortunately for the cost I don't think it offered value for money.

Dear guest We are sorry you didn't find your room worth the money. We wish we knew you couldn't find a switch for radiator heater which majority of guests prefer not to use. We can only guess that you stayed in Tokyo room being only one guest from Hotel.com lately. We disagree with your view on bedding or the room value. It is a spacious room with separate sitting area and have more than enough space for one night stayers. We have bigger and smaller rooms and the choice is there for guests to make. A lovely place, great experience
Our stay was amazing. We loved the designs of the different rooms..each one is unique. We stayed in Paris, Cairo and Venice. Paris is the bigger room. The owners Marina and David were so welcoming and you see that they care. Breakfast is highly recommended, so many options, looks and taste is amazing, price is very reasonable (make sure you book it the day before) - will definitely come back.

Our stay at mamas inn was great, had everything we needed in the room nice comfy beds, working shower. The female member of staff was nice the guy not so much as he was a little rude but overall I would recommend to a friend.

This place is amazing. Mamas boutique is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Everything down to the last minute detail is lovely. I came with my partner for a valentines getaway and my expectations was exceeded. Breakfast was very satisfying and delicious. Beautifully prepared. The right amount of food and drinks. We stayed in the saint Petersburg room. Very exquisite. The decore absolutely immaculate and decoratively beautiful to my taste. The staff were friendly and professional. I plan to come here again and this time stay in the paris room. Cant wait. Thankyou for this experience. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Lovely guest house, quirky in a way that makes a nice change. Will try one of the other themed rooms next time, the bed in the Tokyo room was too low for me but it was consistent with the theme. Overall a lovely stay, friendly staff.
