Villa Mona #1 is located in the tranquil Nosara Springs area, just a 20-minute walk to Playa Pelada and a short drive to Playa Guiones. The nearby river provides easy access to kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing. Guests enjoy the best of both worlds—close to Nosara’s restaurants, shops, and surf, yet surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the jungle.  
  
GROUP BOOKINGS  
  
For larger groups, both Villa Mona homes can be reserved together, accommodating up to 16 guests. This setup offers privacy for individual families or couples, along with shared outdoor spaces perfect for gathering and relaxing.  
  
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE  
  
New construction just started in the neighborhood, so keep in mind noise levels may be higher. Work typically occurs during daytime hours, from 7AM to 5PM. Thank you for your understanding as the neighborhood continues to grow.  
  
LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT  
  
Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages. Construction noise is also possible between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the area continues to grow.  
  
If reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided.  
  
These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences.  
  
SAFETY & CANCELLATION  
  
While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations.  
  
Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security bars when available. A private guard can be arranged upon request.  
  
Even with precautions, theft can happen. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager cannot be held responsible for lost items.
