"It is a novel place to stay. My son loved all the “old-fashioned” stuff. The photos, the crazy elevator and having an actual room key really gave a sense of history. Staying for more than one night would have been a bit much. The bathroom was tiny, there is not a microwave or fridge and the pool was closed for renovations. While the staff are friendly, it doesn’t feel like you are a priority. Every time I needed something (checking in, asking a question, etc) it felt like I was intruding...

"Very nice hotel. Lady at check in was quite helpful and friendly. Room was clean, had been updated and was comfortable. Breakfast was very nice with eggs, sausage, scrambled eggs with sausage and peppers, ham with pineapple, potatoes, pancakes, as well as waffles. Overall a positive stay. Our only problem was originally finding the hotel. Our map program kept taking us down the street a few blocks which was a dark area. The lady at the desk said the hotel used to be located down the street, so...
