This is a gorgeous hotel - clean, well maintained, comfortable. The staff is beyond wonderful. If we even looked lost, there was a staff member asking if we needed anything. The pool(s) and ground are maintained beautifully. There is an over 21 pool, which is nice for those of us without kids. We at at the grill, and had a delicious meal of bbq shrimp, and scallops. The dining was in or out of doors. The only down was the bartender at the over 21 pool - had she taken better of us, she would have made a lot more money. Overall, the stay was more than we hoped for. We will be back.
This is a very clean hotel that offers a number of amenities to make your stay more comfortable: refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. The window in my room was very large (wall-to-wall) so I enjoyed a lot of sunlight and wide views when wanted. Light-blocking drapes were a plus for sleeping. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of my room and how quiet it was. I never heard my neighbors --perhaps because I was at the end of the hallway or maybe the rooms around me were empty. The staff were very nice and helpful.
Northwest San Antonio’s gentle, rolling hills mark the transition from prairie to Texas Hill Country. In a nod to the local history and geology, The Rim entertainment and retail complex is housed inside a former quarry. Nearby, The Shops at La Cantera angle for well-heeled consumers. This area is also home to two major theme parks: Six Flags Fiesta Texas and SeaWorld San Antonio.
