The Bama Lake House is the perfect space to escape the everyday grind and enjoy life on the water! Even better, despite the remote feel, you’re only 20 minutes from downtown Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama! With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, there’s ample space for the large groups. In total, the house’s beds can comfortably accommodate 10 guests, but there are also 2 couches that could serve as additional sleeping arrangements. It’s been recently remodeled and outfitted with modern and cozy furnishings. Enjoy the comforts of home with a stocked kitchen, Smart TVs, washer and dryer, 6-seat dining table, 4-seat kitchen bar, screened-in patio and gazebo, two-story boathouse, and a large wooded lot. Bedrooms: Bedroom 1: King bed and an en-suite bathroom Bedroom 2: King Bed Bedroom 3: queen bed Bedroom 4: twin-sized bunk bed and 1 king bed. Whole property is clean and well maintained inside and out. The house is very open and spacious. Furniture was all very comfortable and in great condition. We loved having the screened in porch off the back. The kids also thought the front room where they slept was great. Beds were a touch soft for my liking, but others didn't mind. The sheets, pillows and bedding were all in good condition.The gazebo is about halfway down the stairs to the lake and is really nice. Wonderful spot to enjoy the sunrise across the lake with a cup of coffee. Stairs leading down to the lake are all solid and lit. Water is deep off the dock. My kids had fun jumping off the upper level of the dock. Paddle boards and kayaks were also nice. They had several noodles you could use to float with as well.Will definitely be staying here again next time we come down to see our boys at the university. Check in was simple (the code worked exactly the time that was allowed), there was plenty of parking (we have 4 vehicles), the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the pots/pans/dishes that we needed to cook and drink coffee (a single serve Keurig was available). The seating and beds were abundant and comfortable. The kayaks and paddle boards were a lot of fun! The only drawback is the steps to the lake. Everything we needed was in the home and Tanner was great to deal with. Dock was great, firepit was great and TV was huge to watch the football games on. The firepit was central to our evening storytelling and the owners were thoughtful enough to provide "outside" blankets for us. Despite the cold temperatures, my sister and I went kayaking - sure wish the app would let me post those photos! The game room was the perfect spot for our older teenagers to hang out (almost too perfect, they rarely came out unless they were hungry, haha). We cooked our entire Thanksgiving meal there and the kitchen was so well stocked we had everything we needed. They even left a special hot chocolate tray for the kids and supplies for our two dogs. We are all looking forward to our next trip there. (For readers who are wondering how far it is to the nearest grocery, it is less than a 10 minute drive and there is also a well-stocked Dollar General within 5 minutes) ##### Cristin F.
