This a cozy place that i recommend. I had made a mistake on the bookimg date and the the fellow at the front desk, "Hamid", was extremely helpful in accomodating my husband & I.
Basic, clean lodging with very pleasant woman looking after the hotel. From checking in late after coming from airport, to breakfast and check out, she was there to make sure everything is fine. The hotel wasn't the nicest I have stayed in, the shower was a bit small, but it was everything needed in a hotel stay, with a nice lady keeping things together.
Lolita was an excellent host. She made us feel very comfortable. We really enjoyed talking to her. The hotel had no elevator.

Hotel Marazul - Business trip Aug 2018
Basic but very acceptable, very clean little 2 star hotel. Met many fellow travellers who stay there regularly. Comfortable bed, good hot shower, room big enough to place your stuff in it. Basic but filling breakfasts. Ruby's diner is right next door, also a wine bar and other restaurants just down the road. Lolita runs the place by herself and is a real character. If you get a chance have a peek inside the little church on the plaza next door.

A small hotel in a quiet town
The facility of the hotel is nice. The room is clean and the bed is comfy. However, there is no hot water
This is an older hotel located in a small square ion the centre of the town. It is quaint and they provide a small but adequate continental breakfast. The rooms are not roomy but they kept clean and are serviced daily.
The hotel is run by a very helpful and seemingly tireless lady who was always available to offer information on the local. There are few restaurants and bars in town offering pretty good quality.
The main drawback is the due to the age of the hotel the soundproofing, both internal and external, is not of a modern standard. You will hear pretty much everything happening in the adjoining rooms and corridor and the comings and goings in the square outside the hotel. I was aware of the church bells sounding between 07.00am and 22.00pm, so this did not come as surprise.
Hotel staff is extremly nice.We regały enjoy conversalion wit lady running this hotel. We reccomendet this place for relaxing stay.

Convenient location close to Obidos
This hotel is a convenient place to stop for anyone who has come north along the coast right up to Peniche, and wants to visit Obidos. Spending a night in Serra d'El Rei (the hotel is NOT in Peniche!!) will save you money. The hotel's facilities are quite ancient but well maintained, everything is very clean, the continental breakfast is totally adequate, the hostess is a very nice lady. One possible drawback is that a church near the hotel rings its bells till 10 pm and restarts at 7:30 am.

Hotel Marazul Review
The Hotel is about 15 mins from Obidos one way and 15 mins from Peniche and the coast the other way, so its a good base for day trips. The village is nice but fairly quiet - 2 good restaurants and a nice cafe/pub. The Room size is just adequate and the staff are very helpful. Parking in the village close by is easy. Easy access from the main roads or the freeway.

We stayed here for three nights. We got a warm wlcome from "grandma". She is funny and will do her best to make sure you have a wonderful stay at Marazul. When we arrived she gave us Port wine to taste.
The rooms need to be remodeled and fixed to a better standard. Especially the bathrooms. We had to change rooms because we couldn't get the shower off. It also leaked, as well as the sink. There was also rust in the bathroom. Grandma was very helpful then. It was a little better in the next room, but when we got back to the hotel the next day, we had to wait for a long time in order to use our room because they had to change the faucet in the bathroom because it leaked. They did thst to several rooms. Unfortunately we then didn't have that much time to do the activities as planned that day.
The breakfast was ok. No parking spot, but you can park for free in the streets outside.
Le descriptif ne correspond pas à la réalité :bain moussant à l'eau de source est écrit alors que la réalité est tout autre :baignoire banale avec eau chloré.Il est écrit que l'hotel possède un parking alors que vous devez stationner sur le parking du village si il y a de Laplace.Lors du paiement par carte on vous demande de transmettre votre numéro de carte qui est transmis par téléphone à un autre établissement pour validation ,ou est la sécurité tout cela pour que le propriétaire économise 2 terminaux de paiement;
