"We arrived pretty late and did not expect to be welcomed by the hotel's staff (we received check-in instructions in case the reception was closed). To ou surprise, they were waiting for us with a complimentary drink and a lot of friendly recommendations for dinner and activities in the area. They also changed our room for a bigger lakeside one with a great view. Our only regret was to only stay there one night."

"The front desk was extremely helpful to us...we were having problems with our phone's gps in finland. They did all they could to help us adjust. My one reservation is that this hotel does not allow guests to use the HDMI connection to watch their own programming (the only Scandic that did this) and offer no explanation. "Fantastic for ctoss country skiing. Traclks start straiaght from the doorstep and are very welll maintained. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Pitty the restaurant wasn't open in rhe evening. I wasn't keen on O'lery's. Had fish and chips there first evening. They were lukewarm and literally just fish and chips - no peas. "The hotel is almost perfect. Literally my only complaint is that the omelette plate (from the omelette made-to-order bar) is too noisy with its textured surface. Staff are brilliant, room and bathroom clean and comfortable, WiFi perfect, Super Breakfast really is super plus Pokkinen parkrun on the doorstep and lots of walks including to the beach."
