"You must pre-check through email. My email was not working. I arrived onsite but could not check in, even after speaking to the hotel's management company and emailing a selfie and a picture of my passport from my wife's email address. I waited in the parking lot for an hour trying to check in but was not allowed entry. And the hotel told me that I had to still pay for the night. AVOID! "

"The front desk was extremely helpful to us...we were having problems with our phone's gps in finland. They did all they could to help us adjust. My one reservation is that this hotel does not allow guests to use the HDMI connection to watch their own programming (the only Scandic that did this) and offer no explanation. Also, although there is plenty of light weight English speaking programming, there is no English speaking NEWS. No explanation offered. Good restaurant on premises. Good...

"Fantastic for ctoss country skiing. Traclks start straiaght from the doorstep and are very welll maintained. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Pitty the restaurant wasn't open in rhe evening. I wasn't keen on O'lery's. Had fish and chips there first evening. They were lukewarm and literally just fish and chips - no peas. "The hotel is almost perfect. Literally my only complaint is that the omelette plate (from the omelette made-to-order bar) is too noisy with its textured surface. Staff are brilliant, room and bathroom clean and comfortable, WiFi perfect, Super Breakfast really is super plus Pokkinen parkrun on the doorstep and lots of walks including to the beach."
