I had to change rooms due to the absolute filth. The new room, while beyter, was still unsatisfactory. Do yourself a favor. Do not book this motel

Worst travel experience of my life. The room was absolutely filthy and had cockroaches all over the bathroom and shower. I turned the heat on upon checking in and the entire room started smoking up until the fire alarm wouldn’t stop going off. I had to completely open the front door and to try and air it out but it didn’t help and the fire alarm kept going off repeatedly. I went to the front desk and explained the situation to the guy. He didn’t care at all and told me he couldn’t give me a new room and no refund since I had ‘used’ the room, when all I had a chance to do was put my bags down. I took out my phone and started recording and then he finally agreed to give me a different room, which wasn’t any cleaner and smelled like cat piss. Exhausted by this whole ordeal, I got 2 hours of sleep and left before sunrise. You have been warned.

The 1st room was beyond disgusting blood on walls, stained crusty sheets and cigarettes burns everywhere. Request different room and it was just at bad. Lights barely worked too

Unsatisfactory stay
I arrived at 2am and the clerk told me they did not have the room that I reserved and that I had to pay an extra $4/night for the room they did have. I refused. They also told me that I could only stay in a certain section with a pet, and it was the non-pet section that had the room I had booked. It’s all nonsense. People smoke in the non-smoking rooms and lie about whether or not they have pets. They smoke weed wherever they want and stink up the place. It’s a Motel 6, not a Hilton. And when I went to get into the room (second floor when I had requested ground floor), the key did not work! So I had to go back down not once, but twice, and the second time the clerk had to come up with me. Apparently the battery had died in the sensor that recognized the key. So I had a more expensive room I couldn’t get into, on the second floor, which took me more than 30 minutes to actually be able to get into. For $80/night??? They’ve GOT to be kidding!

Just my observations.
Beddings seem like not changed. Blankets have some cigarette burns/ holes in them. Water pressure is also very low. Not staying here again for sure.

The room had a big water bug and spider..the tub was dirty sheets dirty and the blanket had holes in it…the door to room had a big gap in it that let air in only 2 flat pillows

My room was on the ground floor with the door to my room on the perimeter of a small courtyard that was an open space that all the rooms not facing the parking lot open up to. It was noisy the entire night, and there were several other guests and visitors loitering right outside my door, carrying on very vulgar and nefarious conversations all night into morning. My room phone didn't work. When I called the front desk I was assured I had nothing to be concerned about. I didn't get to sleep until 6am for fear of potentially being robbed, as I overheard several comments from those loitering outside regarding planned attempts to commit robberies

Not being familiar with Eklton, I could not easily locate the motel. I do not have a GPS. Directions should say, "Stay on 279 north, about 6 miles, until you come to Belle Hill Rd., even though it looks like a very noncommercial rural area.

I asked for a non smoking room but when you walk in the room it clearly smelled like old stale cigarette smoke so I went and bought a can of air freshener the sheets and blanket look cleaned but they had old burn makes on them the bath towels was stained and daul looking we only stayed for 1 night so my husband and I decided to just deal with it

The room next to my bed was 15 people hanging out in front of it looked to be people that were from the border room was dirty and sheets did not look like they were changed, asked for another room to be honest that one was even worse. They made me pay like four bucks more at least there wasn't people hanging outside police patrolling the parking lot.

Nope! Never again.
Room looked like someone just stayed there. All Pillows were not properly in place. Bed was not made properly. Cigarette burn holes in the blanket and sheets. The trashcan already had trash in it. Pee was on the bottom of the lifted up toilet seat. There was a washcloth on the sink that was not fully clean as it was covered with stains. I have photos but can not upload them for some reason. In conclusion- stay away.

Rooms smell worst. I don't know if the blankets are ever washed. Looks like they have been using towels since ages. You cannot say that they are white. All the dirty towels look gray. Only best part is the friendly staff who helped us to get somewhat better towels and some extra room fresheners. I would never stay here again.

This establishment literally did not have towels! No shampoo. The room was filthy. There was a sticky substance stuck to the rug next to the bed. Non smoking room but all blankets and coverings had cigarette burns. The curtains had cigarette burns!
