A beautifully renovated (Saturday to Saturday) 3 bedroom home that has a westerly view of lake Huron via the path that leads down to the water. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac on Lake Huron and mid-way up the Bruce, settled well off the road among giant pine and cedar trees. The main living area features a cathedral ceiling with two large windows facing the front yard. The living room as a new 55" smart TV. Included are two comfortable couch's and an armchair for relaxing after a days hike. It is an open concept living room, kitchen/dining area that provides a seating arrangement for six at a nice dining table and an option to sit at the island. The kitchen area is fully equipped with a new fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is a nice prep island with a 6 stools. There is one full washroom with all new fixtures. There are three bedrooms, one of which has a queen bed located on the main floor. The other two are on the second floor of which there is a queen bed in one and a double bed in the other. There is a beautiful sitting - reading area on the second floor outfitted with a vintage desk for your computer or playing a game of chess. Comfortable furnishings surround a propane burning fireplace. Trees surrounding the cottage provide a lovely private setting. There are two decks. The large wooden deck located at the front of the cottage is a perfect place to have your wake-up coffee, or an afternoon cocktail and a wonderful dinner at the 6 seater patio table. The front deck has two new lounge chairs looking over the yard that has a nice fire pit for an evening marsh mellow roast. The new deck off the kitchen has two muskoka chairs and a brand new bbq. Stroll down a marked path to a dock that stretches out into lake Huron where you can watch a partial sunset and enjoy a beautiful private play and swim area. Bring your own kayak or go snorkeling. Pleasant Harbour is a short distance to Tobermory and Lions Head where you can stroll through the shops, visit the library, restaurants and see the beautiful natural harbour. Scenic boat cruises to view shipwrecks and lighthouses are available daily and a trip to Flowerpot Island is a must for all who visit! Dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are also very popular and if that's not to your liking, there are many places to eat in town where you can watch the beautiful sunsets and converse with friends. Simply Perfect
We had an amazing week here! John and Sue were wonderful. They were so friendly and generous and let our son pick vegetables from their garden and John even gave us salmon that he caught that morning which made our stay extra special! The location was great because everything we wanted to see and do was only a short drive away. The walk down to the water took less than a minute and it was really nice! The lake was beautiful, the firepit was great to have, and the house was cozy. We felt at home there! We will be back!!

Quiet, relaxing getaway
John and Sue's place is perfect if you're looking for a quiet, cozy, out of the way, getaway. It's far enough from things that it feels isolated, but close enough to tons of great places if you want a change of pace. Water access in the area is not great, so if you're looking for a beach-y vacation, or a lake/dock setup, it's not ideal, but there are tons of great beaches and lakes in short driving distance. John and Sue are also great hosts. Very friendly and kind, and attentive when you need them, or invisible if you don't. Highly recommend for a small family or two couples.

Wonderful spot
The cottage is spacious, clean and brimming with natural light. It is surrounded with cedar trees and is very private and quiet as a result. Lovely front deck and fire pit on front lawn. New barbecue out back. The kitchen and bathrooms are up to date and well-equipped. Shallow and rocky waterfront down a winding, forested path as described in ad with a very private shore and dock in a secluded bay. John and Sue were welcoming and responsive hosts and responded to one plumbing problem immediately and got it fixed the next day. Great location just 10 minutes from Lion's Head and 15 minutes to Tobermory with lots to do in the area. Highly recommended.
