Escape to this inviting rural Suite in the peaceful Dorcas Bay area of Tobermory, just a few minutes from the shores of Lake Huron. This comfortable retreat, known as Sunset Villa, is ideal for families and small groups looking for a calm and refreshing place to unwind. The Suite blends natural charm with everyday comforts, offering a cozy setting for guests who want a simple and relaxing getaway in nature.  
  
Inside the Suite, you will find everything you need for a pleasant stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, and basic appliances so you can prepare meals with ease. The living area includes a television with Chromecast so you can enjoy your favorite shows and movies in the evenings. Each bedroom has its own baseboard heater so every guest can adjust the temperature according to preference. The layout of the Suite makes it a great choice for guests who want a calm and welcoming space that feels familiar and comfortable.  
  
The outdoor areas are just as enjoyable. Guests have access to kayaks, life jackets, water toys, and outdoor seating, making it easy to spend time by the water or simply relax outdoors. Whether you want to paddle across calm water, enjoy a sunny afternoon, or gather outside for quiet conversation, the space encourages a slower pace and an appreciation for the natural surroundings.  
  
The Suite uses water from a natural well. The tap water is safe for drinking and cooking, although some guests prefer to bring bottled water according to personal preference. The property operates on a septic system, so only natural waste and toilet paper should be flushed. Guests will find the atmosphere peaceful and surrounded by nature, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors throughout the day.  
  
The setting combines rustic charm, natural beauty, and comfortable living. It is an ideal escape for anyone who wants to enjoy quality time away from busy environments. Whether you are watching the sunset, cooking a meal together, relaxing indoors, or exploring the nearby lake, the Suite offers a welcoming and restful environment.  
  
The space  
  
Step into a warm and inviting Suite designed to help you slow down, relax, and enjoy the peaceful environment of Tobermory. This retreat offers comfort and simplicity with thoughtful touches that make your stay easy and pleasant. The atmosphere feels natural and personal, making it a great choice for couples, families, and small groups who want to feel at home while surrounded by nature.  
  
The main living area provides a comfortable place to gather, watch television, enjoy quiet evenings, or spend time with loved ones. The television on the main level has Chromecast capability so you can stream entertainment from your own devices. The kitchen is equipped with cooking basics, serving dishes, and essential appliances. You can prepare meals at any time without needing to bring special tools or equipment.  
  
Each bedroom in the Suite offers a comfortable place to rest, with baseboard heating so guests can adjust their room temperature individually. This is especially helpful during cooler seasons when everyone has different comfort levels. The layout of the Suite ensures privacy, natural light, and cozy corners for reading or relaxing.  
  
In the basement, you will find a washer and dryer for guest use. Since the Suite runs on a septic system, guests should bring septic safe laundry detergent to protect the system. The basement also contains HVAC equipment that should not be touched except for the humidifier, which must remain on.  
  
The outdoor space provides the perfect environment to enjoy time in nature. Guests can use the kayaks, life jackets, and water toys stored in the backyard sheds. Outdoor chairs are also available for relaxing in the fresh air. A firepit area gives guests a place to sit in the evenings, enjoy the quiet surroundings, and spend time under the night sky.  
  
The Suite is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, so guests are expected to respect the peaceful atmosphere. Quiet hours are from 9 to 9\. This helps maintain a calm environment for everyone living nearby and ensures that all guests can enjoy a restful stay.  
  
Guest access  
  
Guests have full and private access to the entire Suite throughout their stay. Once you arrive, everything inside the Suite is for your exclusive use. This includes the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and basement laundry area.  
  
The Suite includes two televisions, one on each level. The main level television has Chromecast support so guests can stream from personal devices. There is also outdoor space with seating where you can relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.  
  
Guests can use the two backyard sheds. The side shed door provides access to two twelve foot kayaks. The other shed contains life jackets, water toys, and outdoor chairs that are available for guest use. A key for the locked shed can be found in the kitchen.  
  
Please keep in mind the following requirements  
The propane fireplace must remain off at all times.  
The humidifier in the lower level must remain on.  
Do not handle any other equipment in the HVAC room.  
Smoking is allowed only in the firepit area outside.  
Guests are responsible for removing all garbage and taking it to an approved waste site.  
Do not leave garbage outdoors because wildlife may approach the area.
