"We rented this house for my daughter's hen weekend the house was stunning in an amazing location with great facilities. We could not find fault with the house it accommodated 20 of us amply. All types of celebrations are catered for here from a formal dinner, to a party to a film night and even quiet relaxation in the pool and hot tub. "This was a great location for 4 couples to get together for a weekend of walking and eating! A well equipped kitchen made cooking a pleasure and there was plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed visiting the town and countryside walks."

"The property was clean although a bit tired. Quite a few fittings hanging off. Note there are 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet, not 3 bathrooms as advertised. Bedrooms functional but very cramped. The owner required a £300 deposit via bank transfer in order to release the keys on the day of check-in, and then didn't refund or communicate for a week after the the rental, despite me making numerous calls and messages. Refund came eventually, but communication was non existent."

"The house is large, well laid out and proportioned, with 5 bedrooms, 3 ensuite and one family bathroom, separate downstairs toilet, in a great location with a good number of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Easy on street parking. Kitchen is huge and we mainly gathered there. A touch too windy to enjoy the garden but did use the outdoor table tennis table. There were some teething issues but the host responded quickly and well. However I have to agree with previous feedback:...

"This property is excellent for a target market of people travelling for work who just need a functional place to sleep and aren't fussy about the conveniences and luxuies usual in holiday let properties. We were happy with our stay because we had full days planned and were only in the property from 10pm to 8am each day, but I wouldn't recommend a holiday here if relaxing at the property would be part of the plan. The staircase is too steep for anyone older than 65ish or younger than 7ish....

"Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? Overall, the place is okay but the hassle is not worth it "
