Having the two separate in-law apts allowed us to spread out so we werent constantly "on top" of each other. Two nights had "feels like" temps in the negatives numbers and we were still warm!! We highly recommend this property. It is in a very desirable location, so close everything in both No Woodstock and Lincoln. Our family of 12 had an amazing weekend at the Serene Chalet. We went to dinner at The Common Man and then to the ice castles which were literally 5 minutes from the house the first night we were there. The host Samuel even had the driveway plowed for our arrival. The house had 2 suites separate from the main house and it made a perfect fit for our family. Breakfast on Saturday was bagels from the White Mountain Bagle company (also close by) then off we to Loon Mountain snow tubing with my 3 grandchildren, all under 5 years old. The kids loved the bunk beds and the video game machine along with the fooseball game. They built a snow man out on the front lawn while we sat by the fire pit. Sam supplied all the fire wood you could need. We grilled out on Saturday night and stayed in playing charades. Everyone was so glad we stayed at the Serene Chalet and would definitely recommend this house to anyone with a large family. Sam was so accommodating and hospitable during our stay. Clean on arrival and well stocked with linens, towels and everything needed for cooking and laundry. Location outside of cute town of North Woodstock was excellent, with good access to White Mountain National Forest and nearby state parks, as well as the amenities and restaurants in nearby Lincoln. Host Samuel excelled in communication and noted as we arrived that the dishwasher had an error code noted by the housekeeper and that repair service had already been arranged for the following day, which addressed the problem. Would definitely stay here again!
