We were shown the house and given a delicious welcome pack. The bread and jam were delicious. The house was very clean and everything you need was there. The house is also very spacious and much larger than it looked in the pictures. We felt very comfortable. In the morning it was especially nice to sit on the terrace and listen to the owls. In the small village it is quiet and relaxing. We have made many trips, explored the area and also been to Lincolnshire and Essex. The children swam a lot in the sea. We were able to spend two perfect weeks here, it was beautiful and we took wonderful memories with us. I can definitely recommend the accommodation. There is nothing to complain about. The country roads are a bit adventurous because they are very narrow. We came in a big car. But we also know the roads in England very well and were not surprised. It was kind of fun too. The host was extremely helpful, the Unit very clean, comfortable and roomy. Our every need was accommodated and we loved the fresh bread, butter, eggs and marmalade....such a lovely touch to make our stay even more memorable. We were able to venture out to nearby Blickling, a National Trust property; have a delightful return ride on the Wroxham to Alysham small steam train; be spoiled at the Gunton Arms with a roast dinner while watching deer roaming and then take a relaxing drive to Mundelsy Beach. All this during a magnificent Spring time where we were constantly oohing and aahing over daffodils, magnolias and blossoming trees and shrubs and nonchalant pheasants. Set in beautiful countryside opposite fields. Not too far to shops. Very peaceful location and absolutely silent at night. Hosts are great and very accommodating when covid restrictions meant our original planned booking had to be cancelled, it was moved and subsequently had to change again but this was no trouble at all. The property was very clean & well-maintained and had a BBQ, which was used a couple of times!
