We arranged jet ski rental and other beach activities at Rum Point and enjoyed delicious meals at Kaibo Grill, Over the Edge, and luscious drinks at Rum Point. The villa’s property manager, Barbara, promptly answered all our inquiries, helped set up grocery delivery before our arrival, and provided information for a local chef to prepare authentic cuisine right from the villa’s own kitchen. The house is well maintained, spotlessly clean, and offered lots of room inside and outside. The kitchen was equipped with everything our family needed. There are plenty of pool floats, snorkel gear and other water toys, and it was so nice to be able to kayak whenever we wanted right from the private beach. Beautiful property in quiet perfect location. Property manager was super helpful. Great for snorkeling, kayaking, swimming. A few great restaurants around. The kitchen has enough dishes for an army (but not a lot of storage area for all the food). Only one bedroom has a dedicated attached bath. Two bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, two bedrooms upstairs both use a small stand alone bathroom. The small bathroom downstairs is very handy. The light switches are a mystery, and most aren’t labeled. Some of the switch locations are curious (one of the outside light switches is in the laundry room). A book with information about the house, restaurant recommendations and area attractions would be great. All in all a very nice stay. ##### Fred K. There were small issues w broken furniture outside, but nothing that bothered us. The house has tons of room and several areas to gather for board games or just to talk. Pool was great. Small beach is nice, but beware the jelly fish. Two of us were stung while snorkeling just off the beach. Small rays visited us each morning to feed in close to shore. Several starfish just iff shore. Kayaked to Starfish Point, but wind made it a chore coming back. Kitchen was great. Very responsive and helpful. Property is exactly as described. Stayed with 10 people ranging from 2, to my parents that are 60\. Everyone commented that the beds seemed too firm at first, but were very comfortable. Pool and beach access was great. Screened in porch wasn't necessary for the time of year, but if you go when it is buggy this would have been a great addition. Kayaks provided were used multiple times a day. Location was quiet and great access to Kaibo marina for stingray city excursion (highly recommend). Kitchen could use a large cookie sheet, and the beach needs sand brought in to cover the palm tree roots. Amazing sea life right out the back door. We saw hundreds of starfish, fish, crabs, hermit crabs, lionfish (away from the beach and from the kayak, no worries). Very close to bio bay. Island was very clean and the locals are extremely nice. Very safe place to vacation with family. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend this house and property manager. ##### Nicole C. With this large private home we were able to accommodate our family with our own pool and beach for the children to play. Walking distance to Rum Point and one other restaurant spot it was just perfect. We were also able to charter private tours for starfish and petting rays as well as the bioluminescence night tour. All are very close to the home and we did not have to travel to catch the boats for these tours. The home was comfortable and decently equipped. We would stay there again. Clean, spacious and accurate to the listing. We enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch every morning, looking out over the turquoise water. We saw starfish, iguanas and plenty of fish all from the private beach. It’s about a 45 minute drive from the airport and busier area of Seven Mile Beach, but we loved the quieter, laid back vibe of Cayman Kai / Rum Point. We walked down to Kaibo’s coffee shop every morning. About a 10 minute walk. Kaibos also has a beach BBQ on Tuesdays with a band and limbo. Fun activities for the kids. Heading in the other direction, Rum Point Bar is newly renovated and about a mile up the road. Overall, fantastic house. Just watch for falling coconuts on the private beach out back! ##### Gregory D. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 8 days at Villa Emmanuel for a family vacation. Could not be more pleased with everything this home had to offer. Plenty of room to spread out, unbeatable views, good size pool, everything was well stocked and with everything you needed to feel at home. We spent a lot of time on the large rear screened porch and around the pool. The service provided by Barbara was top notch - and she also gave us a great recomendation for a home chef for an evening. That was one the many highlights of our stay, to enjoy a home cooked meal of local cuisine. (Linda - did a great job) Overall this location on the north side was just perfect for our group - quiet and several walkable restaurants that we also enjoyed. The Chisolms grocery store was just a few miles down the road had most of what we needed as well. Overall I would highly recommend this location - especially if you prefer smaller crowds and relaxation over nightlife. Property is very well managed. Easy access for boat charters as well at Kaibo or Rum Point. All of the people we encountered on the island from airport staff, property manager, boat captains, bar tenders, waiters/waitress, etc were extremely hospitable - Looking forward to another visit to this part of the island again! ##### Julie Ann G. We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Emmanuel! We brought our 13 and 14 year old along with my 80 year old parents and my mother in law. This was a perfect house for a multi-generational stay. The house had everything so we didn’t have to leave to enjoy our stay. The main floor bedroom was perfect for my father who has challenges with steps. With the pool and the beach just a few steps down - it worked for everyone!!! We enjoyed our coffee and puzzles in the screened in porch and spent most of our day in the pool and ocean. There is a nice swimming area out front to float in the water. We loved the kayaks! We paddled toward rum point most mornings and saw sting rays along the way. Finger bay is also a great place to kayak. Lots of beach loungers to lounge and read on the beach. We had groceries delivered from Hurley’s - delivered for our arrival. We made a couple small trips to the Chisholm store for a few items. We made most meals at the house with the grill but enjoyed Kaibo and Over the Edge for a couple of meals. The caves were also fun to check out since they were right down the road. This is the quiet part of the island and we loved it! Very peaceful! I would highly recommend Villa Emmanuel! It was clean, spacious and a beautiful home to spend a week in! ##### Jolene S.
