Great place great location

This is the second stay we have had at the On The Bay location with two different family groups. Our stay this time was as great as the last time. Everything is well provisioned. It is easy to get to. It is a fantastic location on the island away from the busier sections but with easily accessible groceries, liquor and restaurants, including a mini mart, liquor store and restaurant within easy walking distance. The condo has everything you need for beach outings or just some stay at home fun. It is close to Rum Point, which has great snorkeling out by the dock. Starfish point is not far away either, not to mention the public beaches too many to count. Highly recommend for an easy family getaway and some relaxation. Oh, and there is a pool just off the back deck that is excellent for kids and adults who may want a break from salt water and just chill for a while.

Wonderful Experience!

This was a phenomenal place to stay. The private beach and lagoon were awesome with great snorkeling. The host was so responsive and always went above and beyond, especially our last day there. We will absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend some time in paradise!

Great Place to Stay

If you are looking to stay away from the crowds, you found it. The area feels safe and the condo, pool, and beach were very clean. Close to Rum Point and East End restaurants. We would definitely return.

Relaxing getaway!

Loved our stay at On the Bay! Excellent location away from all the hustle and bustle of George Town. We loved the private beach and pool. Accommodations fit our family of 5 perfectly.Kitchen had mostly everything we needed to make simple meals. No baking sheets to use in the oven but we improvised with foil. Plenty of bath and pool towels available. Definitely would stay here again!

What a great property! Clean, comfortable, tons of space! Amazing view of palm trees and the ocean. Nice and super quiet, away from the touristy hustle and bustle. It takes about 30-45 mins to get to the touristy stuff but the quiet makes it worth it!!

On the Bay

This property was amazing, definitely recommend. We loved the privacy of the condo association but also loved being close to attractions and places to eat. We basically had the pool to ourselves and the private cove of the ocean was a big hit with our 12 year old and his 74 year old grandpa. Despite being in the middle of tropical storm Sara this November the boys spent hours, days in the water (sometimes in the rain). We hit all the local spots after much research, the trip was perfect celebrating a milestone birthday. The place itself was 'as advertised' and had so many extras. Lots of spices for cooking, bug spray, hot pot (which we used every day), nice cooking accommodations, grill, charcoal, pool toys, beach chairs, fuzzy blanket, kitties to feed. Local management on site was attentive to our needs and communication was spectacular. It really was perfect, wish we could have stayed longer! I would definitely return.

Great Stay !!

The condo is very nice with everything you will need for a great stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had several meals out, but it was nice to have the kitchen to fix some of our own meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all very nice and comfortable. The outside is well maintained. The north side of the island has a problem with trash being washed up on shore, but the ground keepers keep the property very clean on a daily basis including the little cove. I would recommend this place for a great vacation spot.

Fantastic holiday

Our Condo at "On The Bay" was very spacious, clean and well appointed and suited our family requirements. For us the location both on the coast and near the Botanic Park was perfect. The gardens were beautifully planted and maintained. Everyone loved the pool. An early arrival by some of the family was kindly accommodated and we were helped promptly with a late query about the air conditioning. We had a marvelous time and would certainly return. Great phone away from Home

The condo is very spacious, clean, and well stocked with the basics. Beautiful property, secluded and well maintained. We learned from another condo owner that the pool is heated. A bit overkill and uncomfortable for July heat but am sure a very welcomed feature in the winter months. We love staying away from the crowds of 7 Mile Beach and still having access to good restaurants, diving, and things to do. We will definitely be back! Thank you Meg and housekeeping team. Great Condo!

The North side is very peaceful and this condo is in a great location. It is very comfortable and spacious, has all the amenities and a scenic view as well! We enjoyed sitting on the enclosed porch with a view of the beach/ocean and the pool was just a few steps away. The complex was quiet and many times we had the pool to ourselves. We appreciated the floats, snorkel equipment, beach towels and cooler which all came in handy for visiting different beaches on the island. When we had a small problem, Craig, the property manager, was quick and helpful in resolving the issue. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at On the Bay and would highly recommend this condo!

Perfect Family Getaway

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. My 12, 8, and 5 year old children had a fantastic time in the pool, and walking around on the barrier by the sea. It's away from the busy city side of GC, and is very peaceful in this area. I ran several miles at sunrise from the condo, and loved how quiet the area is. Make sure you make reservations if you are going to a sit down restaurant for dinner. Even for the restaurants that seem like you wouldn't need it on a weekday, it's standard to reserve a time. This was something we learned on our first night, and didn't have an issue after that. Everywhere we ate was amazing. Would highly recommend this area and this condo if you are going to Grand Cayman.

Really windy on North side and a 30 minute trip to good shopping and better restaurants.

Got complaints about light music not loud by pool area around 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm. Told us to tone it down and right after that maintenance came threw with a real loud leaf blower. Way louder than any music we we’re playing. Really surprised by this because if you go to any resorts they play music by pool area in the afternoon.

Great xmas getaway

This condo was perfect for our family of five. The bedrooms were good size and having 3 bathrooms was perfect. The condo was super clean and fully furnished. We even had a cooler we could take on day trips. There are fans, extra bedding and blankets, lots of towels, pool floaties and beach toys for kids. The kitchen was also fully loaded with pots and pans etc. We stopped at the grocery and were able to make many meals at the condo. The screened porch was nice and the location was very convenient, about 25 feet from the pool. Nice ocean view. The north end of the island is mostly rocky, beautiful but tough to swim. There was a manmade large area the had a nice beach and good swimming/floating and playing. The location of th actual condo was fine. We knew we would be driving all over the island. We rented a car and covered everything from the turtles and dolphins (west end) to Tukka (East end) to Rum point (North end. Very easy to drive and navigate. Remember it is on the Left side of the road!!

Condo Vacation

When we arrived at Old Man Bay we were shocked to see scaffolding all along the exterior of the building. We were not told about this ahead of time nor was it mentioned in the overview. Apparently, and we found out from one of the residents, that the roof is being redone with June and won't be finished until end of September/early October (supposedly). We also lost power twice during our stay. Overall though the condo was clean and neat and had MORE THAN ENOUGH of everything you'd need. It was situated in the north middle side of the island. It was very private, which was what we need for our relaxing vacation. There wasn't so much color to the ocean where the condo is located but that was okay. The cove is rocky like the description says so make sure to wear shoes. Craig and Ms. Dale, the property managers, were great! They answered all our inquiries in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Could not have asked for a more perfect place!

This was our first trip to the Cayman Islands. We knew we didn't want to be in the thick of Seven Mile Beach crowds, so opted for the quieter side of the island. And quiet was exactly what it was, and we loved it! Rum Point and West End were both close enough for us to enjoy crowds when we wanted to. The condo was about 40 min. from the airport and Seven Mile area, so keep that in mind as you plan out activities. We chose to do our stingray and sunset cruise excursions from Rum Point. The north side can get a little rough for snorkeling if the winds are up. Most of the real beaches are not on this side of the island. The property was just perfect for our family of five: two college students, a middle schooler , my husband and myself. The complex is not large, and most days we felt like we were the only people there. The pool area was lovely and almost always empty. The beach area is just gorgeous! Everything was extremely clean upon arrival and there were condiments, coffee filters, laundry and dishwashing products left behind, so please check with the manager to see what you need to get at the store first. We spent a lot unnecessarily on things that others had left behind. So we left ours behind for the next guests! There were books and games for those wanting to turn off their devices. The wifi tended to be a little slow, but we weren't there for wifi. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy. The master bed and bath are FABULOUS! Very comfortable beds as well. We usually don't sleep well away from home, but slept great here. The property manager was wonderful to work with. The entire process of checking in and out was seamless and he was helpful and quick in answering any questions. The screened in porch area is lovely for morning coffee or drinks in the evening. All in all, we could not have chosen a more perfect place for our family. It was decorated nicely with a modern, clean theme, had everything we needed and a million dollar view. Relax at this hidden gem

Our group of 6 adults really enjoyed this hidden gemLoved that it was a 1st floor unit; Literally a minute from the patio to pool or lagoon. Loved that it was quieter property - only 12 units - could get a pool or beach chair at any time of day. Condo:Beds were comfie. Hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, TP, laundry soap provided. Kitchen was great. Only thing it was missing was a baking sheet. Fridge had ice maker which was much appreciated. We *loved* the big kitchen table - great for family meals and playing games. Condo had lots of beach items (towels, mask & flippers, pool noodles, floaties, etc.).Property:Loved the *heated* pool. Swam/floated in lagoon 2-3 times every day. Snorkeling in lagoon was surprisingly good - saw a variety of smaller fish as well as a porcupine fish, juvenile barracuda, etc. The ocean brings in trash to the far left side of lagoon but the rest of lagoon was fine. The groundskeepers clean up the trash and sargassum on beach every 1-2 days. Only issue we had was the communal charcoal BBQ didn't work well as the damper was rusted out. We used the electric grill in the condo to cook burgers and sausages instead.Area:-Loved that convenience & liquor store, gift shop & Caboose restaurant were only 7 minute walk away. -Also went to Crystal caves, Botanical garden, Starfish/Rum point, Over the Edge restaurant, etc. - all close byThank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us :-)
