This beach front 1 bedroom condo is located in the stunning upscale vacation home enclave of Cayman Kai on beautiful Grand Cayman. Completely renovated, this 3rd floor walk-up unit is fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing beach front vacation. The unit is tastefully decorated with high-end furnishings and the finest linens; all in an understated, yet elegant tropical West Indies motif. Thankfully, the construction on the neighboring condo project was finally completed in Fall 2019 and the peace and serenity once enjoyed from our lanai has again returned. Featuring breathtaking beach and ocean views from the fully screened lanai and just steps from both the quiet pool and sandy white beach (fantastic for both swimming and snorkeling). The beach features both Palm and Casuarina trees for ample shade. Rum and Kai is the perfect size (1,039 sq. ft) for couples or a small family looking for a truly stress-free beach holiday. Within walking distance to a pier, you are just minutes from the famous Sting Ray City and Cayman's renowned North Wall, also making Rum & Kai an ideal base for a Dive vacation. With a king size bed, queen size sofa bed and twin airbed, Rum and Kai provides ample sleeping options. The fully equipped kitchen and available BBQ grills makes dining-in as easy as if you are home. But, since you are on vacation there are numerous restaurants located nearby for you to enjoy. It was like staying at a friend’s place for a long weekend - there was snorkel gear / beach chairs / beach umbrella / cooler …. Owners provided a nice soft cooler, water jugs, chairs and umbrella which were all very necessary at the beach. Highly recommend staying here. Rum Point is still under some construction as of March 2023, but the beach area is good and the snorkeling was great. They have food and drinks available. We will stay again but we just picked the wrong time as both Rum Point and the facilities swimming pool were closed for remodeling. We had an issue with the bed and it was handled so well. I would suggest removing the url at the bottom of the page of snorkeling spots because I think it has been corrupted. I ended up with some unwanted phone messages after punching it in. I hoghly tecommend this place if you want a little quieter experience. ##### Monica H. It was clean and comfortable and very well stocked, with a lovely view of the ocean. We felt right at home from the minute we walked in the door. The surrounding property was very well maintained, the beach out front was lovely and the nearby snorkeling was incredible. Plus, Matt and Tracey were great about providing lots of useful information and answering all of our questions in the lead up to the trip. We truly can't wait to come back! ##### Maureen F. The owners have done an excellent job to make “no worries “ be the time one can spend here. We loved the beach view from the Lanai, spent breakfast and evening out there every day . The retreat is a very well run community, maintenance was out every day quietly keeping the area very clean . We had a issue with the lanai screens due to high winds , they were on top of it before we could report it . Excellent property management! The beach area is one of our favorite places for vacation, awesome sunsets, beautiful sand beach , there is a rock line near shore for easy snorkeling even for beginners, water is shallow so one can stand up . The Rum point Club is next door for food and beverage, Kaibo is a short drive away and Starfish point is a short drive as well. We hope to stay here again , excellent condo and we love the north side location. Thanks for sharing your property!! ##### Patrick B. It has absolutely everything you need, from beach gear right down to measuring spoons in the kitchen. I felt very much at home which made my vacation one of the best I've had..
