Overall the stay was comfortable.
The Hotel is definitely showing signs of age and in need to tender loving care to bring it up to current day standards.
The free WI-FI was wonderful and definitely added to my comfort during the week long stay.
For anyone not wanting to stay in a downtown hotel with the associated high rates, Cremorne Point Manor is an ideal alternative. An easy five minute walk to/from the ferry wharf, an 10 minute ferry ride and you find yourself in Sydney's Circular Quay and Rocks area.
Our stay was too short, but there's always next time.
Must be the best Harbour views in Sydney but......there is no air conditioning, thankfully we did not need it but would be a major issue on hot days as you would have to put up with the noise from the trains crossing the bridge if you opened the windows.
Although the lift was slow we found the apartment was clean and functional and the staff were lovely
The location is quiet with plenty of eateries etc a short walk up the hill, there is a ferry stop outside the hotel providing quick access to Circular Quey and Darling Harbour but it is closed for renovations at the moment so pre purchasing an Opal card is essential if you do not have your car

Perfectly situated absolute waterfront-facing the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, right on the harbour's edge at North Sydney …More
When booking I had hoped it was closer to North Sydney, however was only a nice 15 minute walk to Artarmon Station. The hotel was perfect as I only wanted something that was cost effective and for the price I paid the accommodation was quite nice. We walked back to the hotel late at night from Artarmon Station and never felt threaten, seams like a safe area.

North Sydney is a compact secondary central business district. High-rise offices, cafés, restaurants, pubs, and a few small shopping malls dominate. Busy from Monday–Friday, it quiets down on weekends, but within 1 km is the relaxed, al fresco café, pub, and restaurant scene of Blues Point Road. Trendy Kirribilli is not much further away at the northern base of the Harbour Bridge.
