Ez parking in their lot on property ..self serve coffee in morning & reserved seating times for Continental brkfst of your choosing in nice room overlooking backyard with small pool ( not open yet mid May) "

"Old school New England motel with beautiful views of the the Essex River and Great Salt Marsh. The staff is very friendly and the rooms and grounds are clean. We've book a weekend there every May and intend to continue doing so. As long as you're not expecting a fancy resort, this is probably your best option on Cape Ann. Z"

"We loved staying at the Salem Inn! The room was unique and beautiful and it is in a great central location (basically right across from the Witch House). The only downside was that there was no elevator and our room was on the third floor, but they do have a dumbwaiter to bring your luggage up for you. We had an excellent breakfast included as well. Would definitely stay there again. "

The pool room is beautiful and includes men's and women's changing rooms with showers. The pool itself was a little cold for the time of year (May) but they warmed it up for us when we asked. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location was good for us, we took the train so getting to town took about a 15-20 min walk each way which we didn't...

"The hotel staff was great. The atmosphere very pleasant. Room and bathroom clean. The only thing they charge $5 parking fee. Not sure why. No security. They have signage saying they are not responsible for break-ins. So why a junk fee for parking. You get nothing for it. I did not know this when reservation was made. A sign on the countertop mentions it. "
