It's close to the Santa Claus House and North Pole amenities, restaurants, and shops, including hardware, auto parts, and groceries. The house has in-unit laundry and all the necessities for a great stay. Whether you're here for work or relaxation, this is your perfect location. The whole house is yours to enjoy. We value your privacy and strive to give you the space you need to fully enjoy your stay. Rest assured, we’re just a message away and always available to assist with any issues or questions that may arise. 4WD or AWD and good winter tires are highly recommended during winter months. (moderately-steep driveway) Please keep windows closed and keep the thermostat between 68-70 degrees. Thermostat changes will be gradual and temps will take hours to adjust. Please close the doors behind you and keep the windows closed during the winter. Pipes can freeze very quickly here in our beautiful winter wonderland. Please note that we offer two options to protect both you and the property, ensuring it remains in excellent condition for you and future guests: a non-refundable Damage Waiver for a small fee $50, or a refundable Safety Deposit hold on your card of $1000, which covers potential damages during your stay. These options will be presented to you after booking via our Guest App. Travel insurance is recommended. As with any vacation, unexpected situations sometimes occur that can put a damper on even the best-planned trips. We stand by our firm by our cancelation policy and getting travel insurance is your best option for protecting your trip from the unexpected. \*\*\*For stays longer than 30 nights we do require a lease agreement, background check, copy of drivers license, and a one time insurance fee to be paid before your arrival. The one time insurance fee for stays 30-90 nights it will be an additional $750, 30-180 nights would be $1000, 30-270 nights would be $1250, and 30-364 nights would be $1500\*\*\* For reservations longer than 30 days, we charge a doubled cleaning fee due to the increased time and effort required for maintaining the property. Cleanliness is apparently optional. The dust bunnies were so cozy they probably had their own zip code. And the temperature? Perfect if you’re training for the Iditarod indoors. Bring your parka, because this place laughs in the face of insulation.Location-wise, it’s a dream if your idea of a good time is being miles away from anything worth seeing. Aurora viewing? Yeah, good luck craning your neck from the backyard past flickering porch light. It is far away from primary aurora viewing locations. Attractions? You’ll need a dogsled and a prayer to get anywhere remotely interesting.The property manager? A real charmer; about as responsive as a hibernating bear. And the bathroom? It’s got that vintage “worn-down chic” vibe, complete with a clogged toilet that’s clearly been ignored.All in all, if you’re looking for a cold, dirty, middle-of-nowhere adventure with plumbing roulette and a host who’s apparently on a silent retreat, this North Pole paradise is calling your name.
