The rental unit itself was nice. It’s a bit tight for 6 people to relax in though. 6 people cannot sit in living area and all see tv without a 6th person pulling up extra chair — and that’s with 3 people sitting on futon (it’s not an actual couch). Complex is a bit rundown, which was a turnoff when we arrived. It’s very close to the beach though. And pool was fine. A big thing was that we didn’t care for the fact that 2 grills, 2 picnic tables and outdoor smoking area were on ground level immediately next to this unit. We would have had to endure cigarette smoke if we sat out on porch area which is a big negative for us. And people did use grills right outside unit several times during our stay. Had nice view of that which was not ideal for us. Overall this is a nice unit in a just okay complex very close to the beach (with ocean views!) and within walking distance of places to eat and get ice cream. Proximity to the beach made up for the negatives for us. It was too hot and muggy for us to want to sit outside on porch, otherwise the people smoking and grilling would have bothered us significantly more!Another thing - the luxury linen package offered nothing of luxury! Super cheap and thin sheets. And thin, cheap hotel-like towels. Need to drop the word “luxury” on that! Washer and dryer were super old (like 30 years old?) so was afraid of dryer overheating and ruining clothes. And washing machine smelled really bad.Unit had several games, dvds and books which was nice. Also some beach chairs and cart which we did not use.
