The actual unit was decorated beautifully and I’m sure the owners are lovely people. We had some struggles with Thomas real estate who oversee the property. When we walked in, there was an open pocket knife on the kitchen counter, as well as a pillowcase full of dirty linens and a dirty bathmat on the barstool. Upon arrival within five minutes, there were two young girls that came to the door, asking to make up our beds with no badge or appropriate attire stating that they were with Thomas real estate. We obviously declined the service since we didn’t know who they were.We did report it to Thomas but they were slow to respond. We also reported the balcony lights on the back deck didn’t work, and the owners ended up taking it upon themselves to have their maintenance person come in and fix it quickly. He was a delightful person too. Also on the VRBO ad it says check-in was at 3 o’clock and when we arrived, Thomas said that it would be between 3:00 and 6:00. We were able to check in at 3:30 but if we had a family with us with small children that would’ve been highly inconvenient. We have stayed at Kingsview Villa 4 years in a row and the location is super convenient and as mentioned before the unit was beautifully decorated and the third floor was ideal to see fireworks on July 4th.
