FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS for this property: Q: 'Are there any hidden fees?' A: NO - There are no required 'surprise' costs or resort fees. What you pay when you book is all you will pay for your stay. Q: 'Can I Check-In Early?' A: MAYBE – Our cleaners offer a very limited number of priority check-ins each day that would allow guests to arrive at 1PM. The cost is $50 and they must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. They are available on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to add this to your booking, please message us and we will provide additional instructions. Q: 'Can I Check-Out Late?' A: NO – Sorry, but due to the cleaning schedule, departure times cannot be changed. Q: 'Are beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, or baby furniture included?' A: NO - Due to damage/loss of these items in the past, the need to maximize storage space for guests, and the varied needs of guests, we do not provide these items. However, there are several great rental companies in the Myrtle Beach area. In Myrtle Beach, you can also rent chairs and umbrellas from the lifeguards on the beach during the summer season. In North Myrtle Beach, you can contact the city about renting chairs and umbrellas. Q: 'Are bath towels and sheets included?' A: YES – We provide sheets for the beds listed and also 1 bath towel and wash cloth per the occupancy of the property you rented. We do not allow bath towels to be taken to the beach, so please make arrangements for beach/pool towels. Q: 'Is parking included?' A: YES - Parking is free for TWO cars. You will receive TWO parking passes per unit rented, which is limited by the HOA and the number of available spaces for the building. Q: 'Can I Pay for an Extra Parking Pass?' A: NO – Sorry, but parking pass limits are set by the buildings due to the limited parking space available. However, in Myrtle Beach, you can contact the Pavillion Parking Garage that will allow you to park at most meters in the City of Myrtle Beach. The cost of a visitor meter pass is currently $30 per week (Spring 2022). Q: 'Are there pool arm bands?' A: NO - Pool bands are not required at this location. Q: 'Do I have to clean/make the beds/do the laundry?' A: NO - You are on vacation! However, we do ask that you treat the property with care so it stays nice for others & follow a few guidelines before you leave: Please empty the refrigerator, bag up your trash & take out any excess that won’t fit in the cans, and wash your dishes or load/run the dishwasher (if equipped) before you leave. We do not expect you to clean or do laundry before you check out, but we do ask that you tidy up after yourself with those few items that are not included in the cleaning fee. Q: 'Do you allow pets?' A: NO, sorry - Pets are not allowed at this resort per our HOA bylaws. However, we do currently rent 5 properties where we can accept small dogs. Contact us for more details. Q: 'Can I smoke in the unit or on the balcony?' A: NO, sorry – SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in this unit and on the balcony - no exceptions. It is very costly to have a service remove smoking odors - especially in the short time between guests. If we need to have the unit treated because of the smell of smoke or if we find that you have tampered with the smoke detectors to hide that smoking has occurred, it will result in a minimum $250 charge. Please be sure to read the entire rental agreement and house rules for more information about smoking. Q: 'Are there pots/pans/dishes?' A: YES - The kitchen is equipped with the basic items needed for cooking/eating. If there is some specialty small appliance you enjoy, please feel free to bring it along. Q: 'Is/Are there food/condiments/coffee filters?' A: NO - This is a self catering unit. While we will leave condiments and coffee filters in the cupboard that prior guests leave behind, we can’t guarantee that those things will be in the unit. Other types of food items left behind are disposed of at the checkout cleaning. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the building amenities, condo, and beach. This property was perfect for our first family beach trip! Having the kitchen with pans/dishes was a game changer to make breakfast and get an early start on the beach. The washer/dryer was a life saver as well so we didn't have to bring the entire beach of sand back with us. Having my morning coffee watching the waves on the balcony was a great way to wake up every morning as well. Keyless entry was awesome, and the information prior to and during our stay was easy and straightforward. The beach wasn't too crowded. Even though it was busy, everyone was respectful of each other's space and not on top of each other. The town was great and we enjoyed the restaurants, especially Basil's Pizza! Family friendly town for people who don't like big crowds, and an easy drive to Myrtle for some of the bigger things like the aquarium and boardwalk. We will definitely be returning on our next family beach trip! ##### Sondra W. We were there for the 4th of July and the condo is on the corner towards the pier so the porch was a perfect spot to watch the fireworks going off. We spent most of our time at the beach and pool. The complex has a hose to wash off the sand from your items which is a huge plus. I would recommend leaving any beach items in your car so you don’t have to lug up and down the stairs since It is on the third floor and no elevator. We got a good workout with the stairs, but we didn’t mind. ##### Laurie B. Check-in emails all went to spam folder so had to add contact info last minute so we could access the property. The emails themselves were detailed and helpful. The condo itself is well appointed with basic necessities from linens to kitchenware. Here’s where the issues begin. We saw a few ants roaming about the first day. Didn’t think much of it. On our second day, the exterminator came to do their monthly application but the tech said he had “special notes about ants in window seals and dishwasher.” After he put out bait, ants came from everywhere. After killing ants on myself and four year old while sitting on the couch, we contacted the rental manager Melanie. She said she was unaware of the issue and acted surprised the exterminator had special notes. After debating whether or not to leave, Melanie made arrangements for an additional exterminator to come out the next day. This was appreciated but I handled the ants myself with over the counter product. A partial refund was given for our first night only. Having kids that are on the floor area playing and crawling, we felt on edge the entire trip. I feel Melanie did her best to assist us, but I hope they close the room to additional guests until the problem can be resolved. ##### Chris C. It is on the 3rd floor with no elevator so I would not suggest it for anyone who has a problem with climbing stairs. Access to the beach is convenient and view from the deck is nice. ##### Kelly N. ### 8/10 – Bien #### Latisha M., kannapolis nc 7 juin 2021 #### Beautiful location but in need of cleaning The location was beautiful. It is an older unit. Was decorated nicely but needed a good detailed cleaning. Also tried to contact the manager or owner via VRBO message and email to tell them there was a coffee maker but the glass coffee pot was missing and that the unit wasn't cleaned properly. We checked out today and as of now haven't heard a reply from them. So we had to buy instant coffee which is not that great. Even with all that said we still enjoyed the beautiful unit but would have enjoyed it more of the manager communicated with us to fix our problem. ##### Latisha M.
