"Loved the dining room/ living room area. Made ideal for lounging while others played games and built gingerbread houses at the dining table. Beds were comfy… the kitchen was stocked with the cookware needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner including a meat thermometer. Enough dishes to set dinner table as well. On negative thing to mention is the kitchen a little small to fit three of us… but we knew that from the pictures. The immediate area is cute too… Safeway and CVS about a seven minute...

"Great old school Tahoe lodge within a short 3-5min walk to the base of Palisades. The rooms are well set up and cozy with a separate living room with a kitchen. It’s an older property but clean and a great location. "

"The property is clean and located mere steps from the Palisades Tahoe village and the Tram building (and also close to the bottom of the WaSheShu lift I think). Convenient parking for one vehicle per room in the adjacent garage. Staff was friendly and helpful, though maybe a little slow on checking people in that night. Some parts of the property were undergoing renovation during my stay, so I gave the Property Condition only 4 out of five stars."

"The area and resort are nice. Nothing spectacular. The 1 bedroom condo that we stayed in was quite comfortable but the finishes and furnishings were outdated and need updating. Location is convenient to downtown Truckee which is nice. "
