Just 200 meters from the beach, this fully-equipped property at the heart of Paralio Astros town, awaits you for your ultimate getaway! Enjoy a coffee on the balcony or discover the nearby plethora of restaurants/taverns with local cuisine and seaside cofee shops. A convenient mini market is right at the property's doorstep! Venture out to discover the crystal-clear waters of Kallisto beach (500m), Atsiganos (2km), Agios Andreas (9km) and Xiropigado (10km).

Just 200 meters from the beach, this fully-equipped property at the heart of Paralio Astros town, awaits you for your ultimate getaway!  
Upon entering you are welcomed by an open plan space, with a living room, a kitchen, fully-equipped with anything you might need to prepare your meals during your stay and an adjoining dining table. The layout makes it ideal for families or groups of friends, as there are three bedrooms, two with a double bed each and one with bunk beds. All rooms are air-conditioned, providing optimal comfort. There are also 2 full bathrooms fitted with showers. The property has two spacious balconies, ideal for winding down, enjoying a coffee, a drink or even a meal!

The Neighborhood:  
Paralio Astros, nestled on the eastern coast of the Peloponnese in the region of Arcadia, is a picturesque seaside town that offers a beautiful blend of natural charm, cultural heritage, and traditional Greek hospitality, it serves as a perfect base for exploring both the beaches and the historical richness of the wider Kynouria area. Right opposite the property you will find a mini market, while within walking distance you find yourself at the beach and the plethora of seaside restaurants/taverns and coffee shops.  
At the heart of Paralio Astros is its charming harbor, dotted with fishing boats and surrounded by vibrant tavernas, cafes, and small shops. This area becomes especially lively during the summer months, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing stroll, a seafood dinner by the water, or an evening drink with views of the Argolic Gulf. The waterfront promenade leads you toward the town’s main beach, Paralia Astros, a long, organized stretch of sandy and pebbly shoreline equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, beach bars, and water sports facilities. It’s ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers seeking a leisurely beach day.  
Overlooking the town is the impressive Castle of Zafeiropoulos, also known as the "Kastro of Paralio Astros." This 19th-century fortress was built on the site of a medieval acropolis and offers sweeping views over the coastline and the gulf. Climbing up to the castle is a must for visitors, especially at sunset, when the light bathes the town and sea in golden hues.  
For those who wish to explore more beaches, several stunning options are within a short drive. Just 2 kilometers from the town is Atsígiannos Beach, a tranquil, lesser-known spot that’s ideal for swimming and relaxation away from the crowds. At a distance of around 10 kilometers, you’ll find Agios Andreas Beach, located near the quaint fishing village of the same name. This beach is known for its shallow waters, calm atmosphere, and scenic surroundings, including small fishing boats and a tiny chapel by the sea.  
Nature lovers should not miss the Moustos Wetland, located approximately 5 kilometers away. This protected area is part of the Natura 2000 network and is home to a variety of bird species, making it a great destination for birdwatching, photography, and peaceful walks along wooden boardwalks. The wetland is fed by natural springs and connects to the sea through a small channel, creating a rare brackish ecosystem rich in biodiversity.  
A short drive inland—about 4 kilometers—brings you to the village of Astros, which predates its coastal counterpart and holds significant historical interest. The Archaeological Museum of Astros, housed in a neoclassical building that once served as the assembly hall during the Greek War of Independence, features a modest yet fascinating collection of local finds. Nearby, the Monastery of Loukou is another notable attraction. Situated around 7 kilometers from Paralio Astros, the monastery is built on the ruins of an ancient Roman villa and offers insight into the area's layered religious and historical past. In the same area, you can explore the archaeological site of Eva, which includes remains of temples and buildings from the classical period, nestled within olive groves and serene countryside.  
Further afield, but within easy reach by car, you can visit the beautiful town of Leonidio (30 kilometers south), famous for its dramatic cliffs, traditional architecture, and rock climbing routes. Along the way, small mountain villages like Prastos and Karyes invite you to experience authentic Arcadian life and taste local products such as honey, herbs, and handmade pasta.  
Kalamata International Airport is 1h30min drive away, and the Athens International Airport is a 2h30min drive!
